Damn, i just got reading these 14 pages, and you did a very good job! Looks like you finished pretty nice

how much did it all weigh dried? I was thinking of doing a scrog grow. Did you like doing scrog compaired to just dirt or dwc? or a combo of either? lol.

Just read through your log, a lot of good info in there. Did you mention your lighting / ventilation setup? or did I just miss a page.

how was it with the screen over the hydro tub, i would imagine that it would be hard to clean out your rez with it over the top. I really want to try this method for my next grow but am concerned about the difficulty of having the screen holding the plants in place.

well, That is a tough question. After it was all said and done i found the dirt was just way easier for me. i did find a couple of advantages over dwc in dirt.

1. use far less nutrients. a. the soil has its won nutes and dont need a recharge for the first 3 to 4 weeks. b. you only nutrient feed the dirt plant every 3 waterings... i watered every 2 to 3 days...

2. less of a hassle on cleanup.

3. nothing breaks... during my grow i found that all of my air defusers (the little nipple air rocks) had to be replaced... they started falling apart.
no big deal but a hassle.

4. no wasted $$... in dwc you must drain your res and refill at least 1 every 2 weeks... that in my opinion is allot of wasted money. all of the nutes that were put into the dirt were used. (try to get it down to there is a very little run off.. you dont want to over water.)

5. no additional stuff to buy. in dwc i had to be adding hydrogen peroxide to my rez so shit wouldnt grow in the roots.. let alone all of the line of advanced nutrients...

I will be switching to soil for my mothers and experiments.... and then i will do hempy bucket hydro style growing for my ladies... i figured that i liked having control of what my ladies eat... in hydro dwc you can add specific amounts with a good tester.. and know exactly what your plants are eating... but i didnt like having to throw away the nutrients after 2 weeks in the rez... doing hempy buckets it brings the best of soil (eating all its food and simplicity) and merges it with precise science.

thx. yeah i figured i would notate whatever i learned in order to guide some poor soul like me. hehehe... I still wish whoever it was that got me thinking about sugar and crap to just die. hehehe

lighting yes... 400 hps for flowering... check out all my pics .. in the old pics in my gallery you can see me playing with dual spectrum ideas and such

ventilation was done using 4 inch muffin server fans...

it was great. i mean scrog works really nice.. the drainign of the rez was only hard because im a stoner and wasnt thinking... hehehehe... i figured it out towards the end... the secret is...

a freaking wet vac

i know amazing isnt it. the drain that i had put at the bottom of the rez worked great for the bulk of it... say the first 11 gallons... but the last gallon that stayed at the bottom can be handle with a wet vac and works awsome.

sometimes its simple shit...

like i said earlier.. i think i wont do dwc again due to my experience with the water temps... im not wanting to buy a 400 dollar water chiller just to grow my shit... hempy buckets give you the results of hydro with the simplicity of dirt.

right now im just enjoying the spoils... i have been curing the buds and some real good taste is starting to come out... i probably have smoked a 1/4 of what i grew so far.... tsk tsk...

no really... be letting the trichs amber up as much as i did i created a total couch lock monster. I mean this is no wake and bake type.. like kat williams said" i got shit to do today" hehehe... i found that the cbd levels where way high and the longer it cures the higher it will get. I guess letting them amber up that much really makes it couch locky. this is a total medical high right now. I cant feel shit. and i want to sleep

for those of you that never know when to cut and go based on the ambering of the trichs.. = i would say cut when about 15 to 20% are amber..but make sure all are milky. it will ripine up more during drying and curing and will give you the high your use to from the steets. good luck...

oh and whats with all the people having on there signature that its all a lie and they dont grow... i mean..wtf..
