Hey all. New to these forums, and new to growing, but I've been told my plants are doing pretty darn good for my first grow and CFLs! Here are some pictures from yesterday. Both Ice plants turned out to be female.

A little about my setup:

• 2x2x3 Cabinet. I just ordered some mylar, should be coming in tomorrow.
• DIY carbon filter attached to the top. 2x ~30 CFM computer fans acting as the exhaust.
• 2 oscilating fans inside of the cab for air flow
• All CFLs. Using 4 24w 2700k bulbs and 2 24w 6500k bulbs for the 2 plants.
• Temps are around 80. Humidity around 32%, can't seem to get it any higher.
• I've done lots of LST so far. That is the only training.
• Using FF Tiger Bloom for flowering nutes

This grow is mainly just to get a good mother so I can start doing clones. Once I have a mom, I am going to upgrade my setup. I will use my current cab as the mom/clone chamber, and I will purchase a bigger one to house a 250w or a 400w HPS, haven't decided yet. I will then do a SoG grow for a perpetual harvest.

Ice is one of my favorites from Nirvana. Brutal, overwhelming high (for some it is too much!...hahaha). It can really pack a wallop!
I have no experience with CFLs, but have grown Ice many times with 400W and 600W HPS.

I'm looking forward to you sampling the potency of your harvested Ice buds....fast-forward*lol*

That is great to hear Wavels! You're the first person I've come across that has actually tried Nirvana's Ice. Could you tell me if it is mostly Indica or Sativa? I have seen some websites naming it Indica, and others Sativa... so I'm not really sure!

IMO, Ice provides a really potent indica effect, with a little sativa spacieness for the old head.
Almost everyone I know, upon trying it for the first time, says something like...."where did you get this stuff"? Or they think it’s laced with something else!.....*lol*
My preferred pheno grows more indica; short and blocky, with a strong odor....intense frost. As the buds ripen, they start to give off a smell reminiscent of the fuel I used to put in my little Cox engines when I was a tike!
All of the Ice phenos are good....but the shorter stinkier one is great!

I think it is supposedly a skunk crossed with White Widow or similar.
