this may sound dumb, but I was wondering before you planted the seeds did you soak the rockwool cubes first? and I was also wondering if you actually touched your germinated seeds while planting them in the rockwool? You see I just germinated 10 bubbilicious seeds and got a sprout, when i planted them they seized to sprout.... SORRY FOR THE RAMBLING just dumb founded on it

lol..free, ghetto & functional was the plan. Total cost of $29.90 (the bulb) not bad for a 105watt bulb & reflector with enclosed ballast...lmao. It's the first DIY piece in my room, everything else was bought from the hydro shop, it feels good to save some $$$.

no problem. Yes you have to soak the rockwool to get the center of it completely wet and if you don't, it barely holds any water and it dries out very quickly after each feeding. I soaked the 6" cubes that they're in now for about 24 hrs. The 2" cubes that I started them in were soaked for about 3 hours.

I try to use tweezers when placing my germinated seeds in the rockwool but yes I did have to touch some of them and they still sprouted. The first white widow seeds I ordered had only 2 of 10 crack open when I germinated them and none of them ever sprouted when I planted them. The second round of white widow seeds I ordered from a different breeder had 9 out of 10 germinate for me and all 9 of them sprouted so I think the first seeds were just old or no good for some reason.

thanks bro...I just ordered another 400watt HPS light that I should get early next week. it's only half the price of my current 400watt light so I said fk it. This is the one I ordered: High Tech Garden Supply. I'm gonna set it up next to my tray for the potted plants.
