no problem. Yes you have to soak the rockwool to get the center of it completely wet and if you don't, it barely holds any water and it dries out very quickly after each feeding. I soaked the 6" cubes that they're in now for about 24 hrs. The 2" cubes that I started them in were soaked for about 3 hours.
I try to use tweezers when placing my germinated seeds in the rockwool but yes I did have to touch some of them and they still sprouted. The first white widow seeds I ordered had only 2 of 10 crack open when I germinated them and none of them ever sprouted when I planted them. The second round of white widow seeds I ordered from a different breeder had 9 out of 10 germinate for me and all 9 of them sprouted so I think the first seeds were just old or no good for some reason.
