2nd Grow; First Journal

I planted the seeds directly into soil and had it coming above the soil in 3 days (march 8th)

I'm using a 26w florencent tube (from my fishtank) and i just recently add two more CFL 100w.

I have a MG nutients for veg with a NPK ration of 18-18-21 which isn't exactly what i wanted but its what i got.

for Flowering I am using a 400w HPS, no nutes yet, but i looking to get something with a NPK ration of 15-30-15.

I order a Carbon filter off ebay, that just arrived today, my buddy used it for his grow and it worked nicely so the product sold me.
(my first grow i didnt have any masking agent and my shit reeked, i loved it by the GF didnt)

These seeds i am using are said to be Matanuska Mist seeds which is a mix between (Alaskan)MatanuskaThunderFuck and Grey Mist.

I planted 10, 8 of them came up, and two were lagging behind so i canned them. got 6 left and out of the 6 hopefully 3 are female.

Questions, comments, advice, is all welcome, haters not so much.

Yea drop the lights a little or raise the pots a bit...but other then that it looks like your all dialed in.....

Yeah, i just added the extra lights today because it was sufficient enough, so i droped the plants a little bit, making sure heat wouldn't be a factor.

repotting will soon take place!

So today i topped two of my six plants, hoping at least one of those is female, and i left the others alone, i may plan to make one a mother.

I'm thinking of starting to use some nutes here in the next 2 weeks or so. that should be about a month in.

They seem to be loving the added light as i can already tell a size difference in a matter of less than 24 hours.

Ok, so it's been awhile since i updated it, and i have been having some problems, even with my two added CFL Lights i still need more and i don't feel like going out and buying more CFL's. I'm not totally going away from CFLS but for now, they're done.

When i get paid next im going to pick up a 400w MH, but for now i hooked up my 400w HPS, to get the ball rolling.

My plants are way under developed for how old they are, and i believe it's a few different causes.

1. Not enough lighting
2. Too small of pots
3. Bad soil (imo)

I've since Transplanted to 2gallon buckets, Hooked up my HPS, and spent some money on some FoxFarm soil, with earthworm castings and bat guano.
This soil was fairly expensive $16.95 for 26 Cubic ft.

I drilled holes in the buckets i got from work for drained and bought some plastic drainers for the water to drain into.

Now im just debating weather or not to use the MG nutiets with a 18-18-21 NPK??

Today my babies are 27 days old, and growing strong, all the new growth on them are green with no deficiency's so far.

I haven't bought a MH bulb yet, but i have started using that MG Nutient at a low dosage, 2liters of water to 1 tsp.

Does anyone know if the 400w HPS setup from HTGsupply.com can support a MH bulb with the same ballast?
I believe its a s51 type ballast.

I'm still debating, if i'm going to clone or not, i really don't have to much room, and i wouldn't be trying to keep the mother alive for too long.
Hopefully three of my five babies i have left will be females.

I almost see some preflower on a couple of my bigger ones but im not sure if thats what it really is. if so looks like i may already have two females, but im crossing my fingers.

How much should i be expecting a clone to yield?

Oh yeah my manager at work let me borrow his illuminate microscope, these things are bad ass, i would recommend everyone buy one.

The zoom is from 60x-100x.

and they can't be that expensive.
