I don't keep records for shit.

With detailed information from such posters as email468 you can learn a lot.. I've always given it the good 'ole eye-ball. I have a certain bond with my babies.. they speak to me.. I speak to them.. its kinda wierd, I know...

So this is where we begin our little tryp down the rabbit hole.

Out of 14 *mystery* seeds 11 sprouted in a simple tray consisting of:

(2) Paper plates
(1) Paper towel
Tap water

They could have been put in a cup of water.. but I'd spill that shit.

After that they were set under a dual 24" T5 Sun Blaze Strip Light setup from the local store.. I wanted a light so bad I made them sell me what they were using because they didn't have it in stock!!!



Also purchased was this propagation tray, in three parts. The bottom tray catches run-off, the middle tray holds the medium and seedlings, and the lid holds in the moisture and heat for the early stages. Only 8 remain.. the other three were too runty to be kept.

This won't be needed again until cloning begins.

After about 4 days the lid came off and the babies shot out and then up!

For roughly three weeks they sat under inadequate lighting, only 48 watts (w) and 4,000 Lumens (L). The new quad 48" T5 is coming soon.. 216w and 20,000L should be plenty for those sexy MILF's to be!

For the low lighting they came out beautiful!

(See picture above.. they are sleeping now.. so it won't be until morning that more pics will be posted.)

As far as soil goes, they've been snugly nestled in with Roots Organics soil mix.. let me give you a run-down of what this shit is:

Coco fiber, peat moss, perlite, pumice, compost, mulch, worm castings, bat guano, kelp meal, fish bone meal, soybean meal, feather meal, greensand, leonardite, and alfalfa meal. All organic.. love it!

1.5 cu. ft. for $20!

With this they really don't need any nutes.. but I give them a nice trickle of Botanicare Pro Grow and Karma mix.. very weak.. about 1/4 strength. Then.. when they're very naughty I spray them down with it!

For now they squat in 1/2 gal plastic bags ($0.15 ea.) awaiting the new light and larger containers. They get nutes about once a week, and plain tap water once a week. I can tell from the look of the soil, the smell of the plants, and the leaves when they want.. and what they want.. I also talk to them.. so I might have a screw loose, but I can't find it.. anyways...

I use a chinese piece of shit Accurite thermometer. It has the high/low for two temps and one hydro. I haven't seen anything over 60 Relative Humidity (RH) and 78 deg. Fahrenheit (F). I'll be switching to the metric system as it is easier to handle.. but I have to get the figures in my head first.. so keep up when I do! The thermometer also has a nifty little wire and exterior sensor I will be using later for exhaust temps...

There is a simple circular fan helping with the stalks and roots forming.. and yes, it makes a world of difference with a fan!

In the near future:
Quad 48" T5 fixture for veg
4' x 4' x 6.5' Dark Room grow tent (The good shit!)
Probably a 600w HPS with 6" vented hood (I'm still debating the 1000w HPS)
In-line fan w/ temp. controls (I still have to source a decently priced quiet one)
Ryoko's carbon air filter design w/ 6" flexible ducting
Air stones for a 35 gal Deep Water Culture (DWC) hydroponic setup w/ 3" net pots (63 total)
Botanicare Pro Soil & Pro Flower
Soiless medium for clones in hydroponics (Custom setup, you'll see...)
3-5 gal buckets/bags for soil flowering
Misc. other crap for clones and what not.. remember, I don't take notes.

Depending on the amount of females from this crop of eight will determine if I go ahead with a soil grow and prepare for DWC or go right into DWC.

T5's will burn your plant.. this one shot up overnight with the 18/6 lighting schedule and she learned the hard way. I monitor growth much closer now.

I've noticed the leaves almost double in size over two days of using the foliar spray!

Just found a food dehydrator in the attic!!!!

It has about 10 trays in it.. I suspect about 100g can be dried at a time with this thing!

I agree with We TaRdED - it looks Indica to me and that is about as good as my guess is going to get.

How about some hints? I am interested because i have a mystery seed from a seed bank going and they look very similar to me!

the one in front is the one i'm talking about - the one in back is a Big Bud seed i had around...
