litle late but hey : seedbag first grow
so yeah this is my first grow and i started with 5 plants decided to keep only one and make it my baby hehe\
it's has now been for 2 weeks and 3 days in flowering and i guess i am pretty happy with the result considering its my first grow bud sites are starting to show but no sign of what so ever of the calyx swelling up yet ... ill give it another 1-2 weeks hehe i guess im nervous about this plant
it's under 8x23w CFL
i currently have 6x2700k
and 2x6500k
i am not looking into switching those two last bulbs since i've seen good threads about mixing the spectrum actualy reduces some of the streching if i am right :/
ill be uploading pics soon having some issues on that side but for now i can tell you i did some : topping, scrog, and fimming into this grow since i was taking it has a try and see for a first timer but everything actually turned out to look great in my opinion
any good advice will be taken seriously and i appreciate people taking there time to post a feed back and to stick to this thread and see wassup
***EDIT*** For anyone wandering this is a legal grow nothing illegal is done for this i have the rights to grow up to 12 plants and not go over 4 pounds per harvest if im right, I suffer from hard chronic insomnia and tried multiple sleep pills that only made me not wanna wake up in the morning ... my doctor signed the papers and voila !

Ive had mine under 2700k's for the hole grow turning out just fine so farinto my 5th week of flowering. Most people love the mix spectrum "advantage" with cfl's . it all just depends on real wattage/lumens tho in the long run. besides the need for 2700k to flower ( makes for compact buds? instead of light and fluffy I belive)

mhh i have a qeustion since you said your on week 5 of flowering how long till it took for yours to go from white hair bud to swollen calyx look ?
edit *** yes and i do have 184w running onto one qutie small plant is it worth it to keep my 8 bulbs running or it won't change anything if i just pull 100-120w ?

Normally around the 3rd-4th week I've noticed ( mostly 4th week or 30th day of flowering. tho it was 24-30th day I noticed the biggest changes) . after that you'll notice a lot of "bud" development. week 5+ seems to add of the weight on to the buds tho. You'll see what I mean. It really doesn't take that long. and your almost at that mark.

Lights are not on yet they still have 2 hours of yummy sleep to go and i might be updating their status depending if there is any noticable change,

day 5 of 2 week flowering,
today i noticed alto of THC productin in the middle of the bud sites hoping these will go allover the plantbut anyway ill keep in touch in any change comes up
week 3 of flowering 2 days in flowering and the plant now has a little pine smell starting ... i can notice alot of THC production pretty much allover ... buds are startign to swell a bit i guess
Fun little grow, how long did you veg for? Have you tried making some kind of cheap reflector for your lights? Seems like a lot of wasted light...

i vegged for 2 weeks and meaning 2 weeks saying by taking first set of real leaves as day 1 ... so about 3weeks to month including the seedling stage, as for the reflectors idk what i could be doing if you have any idea on how i could reduce the lost of light any help will be appriciated and taken seriously, on this nice smoke everyone
