Michigan simplicity
Ok, Im going to do some weekly posting of my new garden in my basement.Far from finished as Im only able to afford so much at a time, Im running a simple 6x6x9 section in the corner, Wrapped in Americover. Im running a 400w metal halide with simple fans to circulate the air.. Im growing in soil currently, but an looking into the soil-less mixtures for next time, though Ive always grown outdoors and like the dirt. Plus Im growing just for me so Im not into quantity over quality.BTW, I am looking for some local clones or seeds if any aroundI will do a journal for them too.. I built a simple clone box as well with fluorescents, but am planning a 2nd "room" for flowering when i can afford it
For now during the trial run Im using unknown Kush seeds, I had 5 and lost 3 during germination, but the last 2 are doing just fine.Were twins and are 3 weeks old today..

yeah a lot can be done with a 400watt, to help maximize your space you might wanna check out the main lining thread in subcools organics, its by nugbuckets, its superrr helpful

They look really good! I think they look like the same strain but I have noticed that I have had plants look the same young and turn out much different.Doing lovely, These are starting to look like 2 different strains, or one of each sex, not sure yet but we will see

Day 36... Well about 5 hours ago I did the big transplant to their 5 gallon final homes, and no major wilting or anything yet, hopefully it was pretty painless. I used new outdoor planters with drainage drilled into the bottom.. Were definitely showing 2 different strains, The one with the heavier foliage isnt showing anything yet, but the other one is showing a couple tiny pre flowers. Heres the transfer and updated growth pics

Day 42... Doing just fine.. Today I took 2 cuttings of each plant from lower growth and put them in jiffy pellets under a simple fluorescent grow light. (Ill let them live under it until I buy another larger unit in a couple weeks they can live under until they go in to flower room.)I have a old cabinet made of wood from a garage thats almost 2'x3'x4' high thats going to become my clone box, ill add some pictures of it when I get it finished out this weekend.. Heres some updated picts and a shot of the clones
