What's up RIU? I'm an organic grower who uses no bottles, water-only... There is a method to my madness, My latest harvest - Strain: Herijuana IBL - Medium: Dr. Earth potting soil amended like it was bare pro mix, with compost, kelp, alfalfa, azomite, neem cake, fish bone meal, sul po mag, EWC, perlite, rice hulls etc... Height: 3ft - Lighting: Sun - Container: 5 gallon smart pot - Flowering Time: 60+ days 12/12 - Yield: 2oz dry... Not the best yield but its supposed to be some fire.

She's curing in jars right now, opening the jar every other day to allow the bud to ferment, she smells like sweet coffee when I open the jars... Feel free to comment, just save negativity for somewhere else.

Got 1 more mini outdoor girl "Deadbody OG" some really stinky, silver Calyxes, smells like earthy fruity kush with a hint of tropical skunk...

Also running her indoors because I'm pretty confident it's going to be good, its origins are a bit mysterious because it was a bagseed found in a bag of some shit called Deadbody so who knows what pollinated it but so far no nanners...

The babe in the smart pot is "Deep Sleep" which is a clone only Cali strain, a hybrid of Larry OG Kush x Pre98 Bubba Kush

The Outdoor Deadbody OG gal is starting to turn purple on her tips and is getting really frosty and stinky, like a fruity, fuely, skunky smell...



This is a new arrival in the garden, Dark Lord... Its a f-1 crossing of Halo (Romulan x The Purps) crossed to Blackwater (Mendo Purps x SFV OG Kush). I'm looking forward to these plants.



This next 1 is my Deep Sleep mother.

The Deadbody I'm currently flowering has five main colas.

Whats up RIU? My Deadbody swelling up pretty nicely. Going to be a good harvest this time.

My tent is getting a bit crowded, the plant in the right corner is the Dark Lord, its 30" from the soil.

The widest one is the Deep Sleep its 30" wide.

Just harvested the tops of the Deadbody today

Before


Chopped off branches stuck in a box to dry for 5-7 days or until dry. I leave most of the leaves on until they dry, then I trim the leaves and let the buds dry out more before jarring. This gives the plant maximum smell and taste by drying it slowly.




What is left on the branch, while the other buds dry these will mature, then these are getting harvested once the colas go in the jar.



Deep Sleep, also picked up some Tahoe OG Kush, my next run will probably be 2 Deep Sleeps and 2 Tahoe OGs.

What's smokin' RIU?

Deep Sleep, she smells great. Similar to the Larry OGK cut mother but a little bit more pine sol smell going on with it when rubbed. She looks droopy cause I watered her a little too much right before this pic was taken. She is falling all over the place. I spread her out and stuck a stake in the soil to balance her on. The buds got top heavy, the bigger nugs form at the top of the plant. She's got the whole light to herself now, she looks like she'll be a much better yield than that Deadbody shit. I'm done with that plant for awhile. I still got cuttings but I was not impressed with the dry weight. I'm planning a scrog/net of some sort to support my next run of all Kushes.

She never recovered from the over watering even got under watered since. This grow could've gone a lot smoother, I'm ditching the smart pots after she's done. Too much hassle and 0 benefits.

Deep Sleep, she's at week 8 of 12/12 I think she'll be ready to come down by next Friday. Merry Christmas!

It smells amazing, it smells earthy and fuely when cutting with the scissors, just like some good OG Kush should. I estimate it will be over three oz dry. Not a big yielder for the size of plant but the quality is better than the best is town, which is pretty damn good.

I'm also supposed to be getting a cut of the illustrious GS Cookies I've heard so many good things about pretty soon.

Here's a Deep Sleep Cola hanging fresh after harvest.


Lower nugs of Deep Sleep dried out faster, wicking what little remaining moisture is left in these out with a paper bag. The colas are still drying, most of the popcorn is dried already. My dries usually take 5-7 days, depends on the weather, the bigger nugs are drying in low temps, about 60-65F and 30% RH. Takes forever to dry but preserves the most valuable terpenes this way.


This stuff was so popcorn I'm using it for hash, going for the dry ice method, since its less work than bubble and less risk than butane.


Here's the Tahoe OG Kush, I finally put one into flower, it'll stretch for the next couple weeks before it packs anything on, its a 10 week strain. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks man, I am truly blessed to have access to quality strains like these here, I think the number of organic growers is so small its hard to get local access to clean organic meds, some people say its organic but it still tastes like they use bloom boosters in late flower.

I'm a person who likes to savor the flavor if you know what I mean, I prefer my joints and bongs to taste great down to the last hit. I even do a extra long cure

I'm anxious to see what I can do with the Tahoe OG, I got two Deep Sleep next run, big bushes and two Tahoe's. Tahoe is supposed to yield higher so I'm growing smaller plants to get a feel for it.

I got some reading to do on dry ice hash, that hash pile weighed out to 32 grams. Should give me a nice little chunk for personal enjoyment.

Wait till you see the Cookies, all the grows I've seen of the Cookies looked jaw dropping quality, the buds were just solid white with purple hue in the background.

I have a feeling Cookies will be a slight challenge organically, since she doesn't like nutes that much, she's finicky about that. So I'll have to put her in a watered down mix with less amendments in it. Otherwise it'll just burn, my friend tried one organically and his Cookies died in veg, his soil mix is slightly weaker than mine to. So I'll definitely be adding some extra coco and perlite to her potting soil.

Quick report on the Deadbody:

Taste: 7/10 Berries, Skunk, sort of like Blue Dream but more Skunky.

Aroma: 8/10 smells like it tastes

High: 9/10 the potency compares with OG18, more Indica feeling, gives a groggy feeling if smoked in the morning.

Yield: 1/10 very poor, 32 grams off that last one. Never growing the plant again, but it is some dank smoke.

Bag Appeal: 8/10 it looks desirable, I'd happily buy.
