TGA Qrazy Train and Chernobyl

Subbed!!! I gotta Chernobyl vegging away until I can make some room in my tent

I have ran into issues when using a heat mat & dome with seedlings. I do not believe seedlings need the same care as clones.

the dome is off as soon as the seeds come out of their lil pellet and the mat goes off as soon as I seed the seed shell pop off. it's like 4 days max before they hit dirt and again-more habit then actual need I feel but I won't abandon what has worked until it stops working you know.

I see, you are just trying to pick up the pace of the first few days.

Ever have one of those seedling pop and then just push itself up out of the plug pretty much completely and try to dry it's lil taproot off while you're not looking? This lil prick was trying it but I got you sucker. I had to help all the seedlings out of their seed case, not unusual just a note I thought I'd make. so all but this one is now in a pot in dirt without any nutes or amendments under those little 18" T5s.

Next week they will make it out the tent and I have a 4 foot 4 bulb florou light next to my 400 watt conversion MH and they'll harden off and get thier root on. The plan is to leave them in these containers until about 9-23-12 or so and then take 2-3 cuts per plant leaving just one or two shoots. Then I will flower the plants in their little pots and use the rooting cuts to make a mother and have a run thru to taste test. So I should taste any females I might get around xmas. I don't like taking the time and space to make them all temp mothers and wait to root thein cuts and flower those to see what I got. This was seems the best for me personally. I like to feather them into cycles with known females and cuts from my stable of trusted strains so as to not have anyone running out (itd be me not the patients, so I'm extra cautious not to leave me in the cold) should something like what happened with AK48 (late herm and poor quality). Thats the plan, now its on here to refer to should I fuck up royally! Hope you enjoy, thanks for following.

UPDATE:

Bad news: we got a man down on the qrazy train! the last holdout seed must have spent too much time with that root exposed-it won't grow;its now brown and dead so the count on those is chernobyl 2 of 2 and qrazy train 4 for 5. I also cut 10 white widow clones yesterday and put them in the cloner. I was up late (for me) doing that cleaning up the room and harvesting the last bubblelicious. I can't tell what it is but this time around the thing was huge, big as fuck I mean one of those that's all bud and you can't see the sticks! It was very late (again, for me it was) so I didn't get a last pic on the vine for that plant but unless somebody put my dead homies ashes in the pot ala how high its still not going to be anything medically strong and I didn't get a good gum pheno either so... DEAD! no more bub bub. I'm prolly cutting the Acid plant tonight. got to get it cut and cleaned tonight so it's dry when I get back, little cure on it and get it to those that need it. That one I will snap pics of and post but prolly in my other grow journal. Just tossed the seedling so I thought I'd update the sad news.

9-7-12 seedlings.jpg The 6 survivors. 2 chernobyl and 4 qrazy train. truthfully I've had chernobyl and not qrazy train so I'm pretty excited about the cher and hopeful for the qrazy. Nothing much to say not much change added some dirt to top off the pot and aranged them, mat is off lights are down on em. first true leaves are here and the second set are coming up. hopefully I'll get an eye pop in a few days when I get back and look at them.
