Well this is my first time growing really, and lo and behold i am living in africa. Sounds cool right? Yea it is pretty cool, but finding reliable growing supplies has been a hassle. A fucking hassle. So i guess i'll start and tell you all what ive got. Ive got:
3x1.5 feet closet.
Fan.
White walls inside of closet.
250w hps. I have had to replace the transformer once already in 3 weeks of using it. It overheated quite a bit and burnt out the connections. There must be a god in africa that decides when shit breaks and stops functioning. Example, my elavator is on its fourth week of not working. I live on the 9th floor.
4 1 gallon pots, each with a 2 week old in each.
4 water bottle slices with 2 weeks old.
5 water bottle slices with 1 weeks old.
I am waiting for my 1 week olds to get bigger to decide which ones to put into the 4 more gallon pots i can fit. The oldest plants are from a decent bag from the US. and the younger 5 are from marijuana here, its Bedouin green, Bango, not that good because its always seedy as fuck, but it does get you high. So if i can get rid of the seeds problem it should turn out alright. So far the little guys look beautiful, there are two of them that catch my eye whenever i peak in to look.
Ive got them all on a 16/8 cycle, doing well so far.
They are in a mixture of peat, river silt and styrofoam, which has proven well so far, i wish i could have found some perlite but to no avail, all the little gardening places in my neighborhood only used styrofoam. So here are some pictures
A couple of days after germination:

One week after germination:

Two weeks after germination:

Hope you guys wanna watch.

I only used the water bottle bottoms because of no other choice, and yea i am transporting the rest that make the grade next friday. No the soil, is peat, silt, and crumbled styrofoam

haha yea man, dead serious, things can be shitty here, my first ballast almost melted from shitty wiring. I mean i replaced it for 10 us dollars but you know, it could have been bad, i don't want to start a fire in my building, fire exits are blocked by garbage and cat nests. Yes nests, i think i have around 30 cats living in my building. whenever i cook i open the window to vent to my fire escape, theres always 5 just sitting there meowing. In other news my little guys finally started to smell today, i put my nose real close to the tip of what looks like my only indica, got some of that sweet smell that i have missed so dearly. Its been a month and a half, i went from smoking cherry kush, and other beautifully grown headies, to smoking hash cut with rice flour or coffee, fucking hamas. i wish they could just send us that good shit, even though ive gotten in with a dealer who buys fresh shipments of pure Moroccan, delicious. Speaking of which, doobie time:joint:

So from now on i am going to referring to my tomatoe plants by letter a-g currently. Everything is going real well in the grow room, my ladies are looking pretty, although a few are a little bit more yellow than a few, which is alright because they are still growing fine. Since last week ive put three more in big pots, they are looking phenominal. two of them from new york bag seed Plants a and d, and one little guy plant e. So heres some pictures of them.

Plant a- New york seed, now 3 weeks old

Plant b- New york, shes beautiful, biggest of the bunch, comparable to plant f.

Plant C- The only one that looks like an indica to me.

Plant D- Just potted a few days ago, looking fine.

Plant E- Now 2 weeks from seed, looking pretty nice, its that Bedouin Grass.

Plant f- Second biggest of them all, its weird, they seemed to be growing slow around monday, but within two days it was the biggest along with B, they both did the same thing too.

Plant G- A little light in color but still healthy nonetheless

Enjoy, everybody blaze that Moroccan if you got it.

looking good man! we're about the same stage of growth. Hows your temp control? getting too cold might cause that lite color. They all look pretty indica to me.. I'd bet money they are all indica/sativa hybrids.

good to know, ive had the ac on for this week during the day, its been getting into the high seventies, were about to hit a 90 degree weekend coming up, im not ready to sweat my balls off again, i already went through the hottest and driest heat ever in the fall, god damn. I wish African weed would be a little bit better, i have to mix it with that brown to get the right feeling. But mmm mmm, afghani brown. You all have a good night.
