Ocho2's third Grow! Sensi Star, Exodus Kush, Bubblegummer, and Pure AK! 400Watt HPS!

Welcome everyone, including the many friends I have made during my last grow journal. My name is Ocho2, and I bring to you my largest and most varied grow ever

. Though I have only had a few grows, everything has came out excellent and the final product has been quite superb.

My last grow I grew three White Widow Big Bud, from FemaleSeeds through the Attitude Seedbank. Though a small pH and calmag issue occurred, thanks to the help of all the advice I was given everything was corrected and the girls made it to the end

Now I will proceed to post a few pictures, and list the grow details and strains. For everyone viewing right now, I started germination one hour ago. It won't be much for the next few days, but I promise it will be an awesome journey I hope you will sub and follow me on.

Also, everyone returning..it's great to hear from you all again. I have waited a long 5 weeks since harvest to start up again, and that day is finally here

Grow Room: My closet. Four foot long, and two feet wide. Should be interesting, as three plants took up most of the room last time.
Lighting: The same light from my last grow. 400 Watt HPS with adjustable electronic ballast. Adjusts to 100 Watts, 250 Watts, and the full 400 Watts.
Medium: General Hydroponics Cocotek Block. Same medium I used last grow

Containers: Four five-gallon buckets, one for each plant.
Strains: Paradise seeds Sensi Star x1, DNA Genetics Exodus Kush x1, and both FemaleSeeds Bubblegummer x1 and Pure AK x1.
Fan: Same small honeywell fan from my last grow. I have yet to pick up a fan and tubing to pull the heat out from the light, but hopefully before bloom I will have them

Nutrients: Hydro 7-9-5 Solution, MagicCal Calmag, as well as the needed pH testing and adjusting kit.

I started germination last night at 9:00pm. I went with the wet paper towel method again.

After a night in the dark closet, no tails have popped yet. The same thing happened when they were in the dark last garden, but once I covered them all with another plate so no light shined them and powered the light to 150 watts to give them warmth tails emerged within 12 hours to 36 hours.

I did so again, the light is on giving the seeds a bit of warmth and they all have extra plates covering them. You can really tell how hydrated the seeds have become by observing their appearance since they were started.

Hopefully I will have more updates later. I am heading out to the hydro store to pick up two cocotek blocks.

Question for readers: I am going to presoak the cocotek with proper ph water and calmag. Any idea on the amount of calmag I should presoak with? 1/4 to 1/2 tsp?

Hey Ocho,

Subbed up over here. Cant wait to see it bloom. I would say 1/4 would be good imo. Now off to finish building my second flowering unit for the new room I built. Stop by again sometime bro, you gave good imput last time.
