when transplanting u want the soil moist so when u flip the plant the dirt stays 2gether, plant it into drysoil then water it in good so u have even soil penetration. hope that helped
Ok I understand your point guess I was thinking backwards lol...ill transplant them to 1 gallon pots on Sunday. I can't afford to mess these up...these seeds were a arm and a leg lol..do you recommend anything else while im transplanting...maybe some old school tricks that would help when transplanting.? Also is it best to wet the soil in the both pots before transplanting them...or put them in dry soil then water....

Hey phil good looking girls there. I am going to sub to this because I want to see how those girls grow and compare them to my cut. I have a clone of Ken's GDP from Harborside and she is the slowest grower I have. She takes half the water of my bluedream and deahead og moms and is very branchy but her stems stay thin. I harvested one clone on my last run but she had problems the entire time so did not harvest well. Fault was mine and I will give her a fair shot sooner or later.
I did notice her starting to purple on her own about week 7 but she was so weak by then I had to pull her soon after. as far as nutes go I give my seedlings lose dose nutes when I see the first set of true leaves after the single and 3 leaf sets.
If theres no nutrients in the soil you will have to feed some straight away, very low dose will work, about 1/6 strength
I always use soil with feed in it, usually john innes no 2 for veg and multi purpose compost with added john innes for flower. I dont feed any nutrients throughout veg
Here's a updated pic of the GDP plants..I've decided to put them on 12/12 today. Since they take around 10 weeks to finish I want them to be dryed with 2 weeks of cure to be ready for a nice Christmas smoke. Now for the question I have.....I wanna breed a male and female so I can have a stash of seeds for future back up...now should I just clone the females or should I just plant the seeds once they are done and harvested...also I would like to keep a couple mother plants for later also. By me putting them on 12/12 would I still be able to take clones once sex has beenIMAG1554.jpg established or should I say forget Christmas and let them go til preflowers show....here's a new pic of them I just set them in my flowering room like 5 minutes ago...
Now that I think about it...ill just veg them til about 2 feet tall....I can just smoke the plants that's in there now once their done....I read somewhere that the GDP doesn't stretch much...is this true...
New update. The 5 planted were topped today. They have been showing good side shoot growth. I'll be purchasing a cloner soon so I can have some mother plants when they reach a good enough size.
I reccommend a aerocloner![]()
