My name is Dusty and I am new to growing for the most part. Feel free to comment and leave advice for me.
So I should mention I germinated my seeds using the paper towel method a little over two weeks ago. I transferred the first two seedlings into jiffy pots. Out of the two, one looked far healthier than the other so I transferred the entire jiffy pot into a 5 gal bucket after about 1 1/2 weeks.
These pictures are taken 2 weeks after germination.. I feel she (wishful thinking) looks pretty healthy... I have found some spider mites crawling around in the soil so I ordered some Zero Tolerance Pest Control to fight off the mites.
But let me know what you guys think. It's not very tall but it's becoming pretty bushy. I'm intentionally leaving the light about 3-4 inches above the plant to promote a shorter, bushier plant.
I will appreciate any advice/constructive criticism you all may have.
your absolutely right. 60 watts of CFL.. 4,100 lumens total.
So if I get two more of these bulbs and another dome.. I'm hanging them from above so each dome (with 2 blubs) will hang over half of the bucket.. do you think it will be enough? Im doing a 18/6 light cycle right now.
I think they look pretty good, I have a small T5 that I use and it puts out 4000 lumens and I my grow comes out fine. Of course you could get 2 more and end up with 8000 but I wouldn't say 4000 is no good.

Yes I'd say its enough to get by, 8000~ lumens is a decent amount for one plant

Well certainly its better than nothing, but even outside in the shade you can see 7000+ lumens. Would you want to have a plant that grew in the shade or do you actually want some tangible buds to smoke?
