    Week 8 from sprout - Week 2 of 12/12

    week8(2).jpgweek8(3).jpgweek8.jpg

She's doing great! Filling in a little, still not very much stretch.
Standing at 21 1/2 inches, which mean she only stretches about 3 inches in the past week, and 5 1/2 since I started 12/12.
Fed her yesterday with quarter strength grow nutes, and half strength bloom nutes. Will be full bloom nutes on the next feed.
Although, I pulled about 2 or 3 yellow leaves out of the soil that had fallen off, I'm thinking she needs to be transplanted.
I was going to transplant the week I put her into 12/12 but realized I had given away my soil and haven't been able to pick more up.
Would transplanting at this stage be bad for the plant? Because I'm thinking if I don't it may keep going downhill over the next 8 weeks.
Give me some opinions people! Let me know what strategies you would use at this point! Every comment is greatly appreciated!

Pretty sure it's a 2-3 gallon. She's been in it since about her second week, since I start them in smaller pots.
I've used the same pots for my last grows all the way to the end, but the plants were smaller.
I planned on throwing her in a 5-10 gallon right before flowering but like I said I ran into a soil issue.
Unless someone states it being overly unhealthy to transplant now, i'll be doing it within the next 2 days.
And it's nice to hear someone else was pleased with this strain! I can't wait to see how the buds will look

well if your past the second week then dont transplant
really you shud transplant a week before flower or as you go into flower, doing it any later will cause stress n may lighten your yield
If it was me n the plant was severly root bound id say day 14 would be absolute latest
The plant will stop growing roots around week 3 or thats how I figure it, once the stretch is over n the bud then begins

I just transplated her. It's day 15 since 12/12, so I figured I would because I'd rather have a lighter yield than having problems to fix over the next couple weeks.
Also I've been watering with 7.0 water, every 4-5 days when the soil is about 90% dry, and feeding every second water, But I checked my run-off and it was around 6.0.
Could this be the problem behind the dying leaves? (Besides being slightly rootbound) If so what would I do to fix this?
This is only my third grow and the first grow that I've used a PH tester.

what nutrients do you use, is it ph balanced? which leaves died, the very bottom ones?
your plant looks in good condition and I believe your worrying about nothing which is a beginners usual fault
whats that saying idle hands are the devils tools

I jus looked at that last picture and I dont see you missing any leaves, something I would reccommend tho, trim all the lower branches n leaves off, the light wont penetrate far enough to make the buds down there worth while
as a rule the bottom third of the plant shud be bare

I was using Miracle Gro 24-8-16 at half strength for the veg stage (because I understand it has bad rep and could easily burn plants),
Now I'm using Shultz 2-7-7 for flower which I find works perfect.
I'm not too sure if they are PH balanced or not.
And yes, they are the bottom leaves.
I know it's not something to get overly worried about since i've had that problem with my last 3 plants.
But on my last plant I let it go without a worry and the yellowing worked it's way up the entire plant within days lol, I litterally had no fan leaves left with weeks left to flowering. (Ended up being what is think was mag def, due to something wrong with the PH)
I was just curious about why the run-off was so low when the water was at the perfect PH going in.
Not so much worried about the yellow leaves, just trying to understand the whole PH thing since this is my first shot dealing with it.
