I grow with Blackstars also. How far do you keep your lights above your plants?

great work sleez those buds look dense as fuck and huge too boot! cant wait to see what they dry up to weight wise.

During veg I keep the lights about 10 inches above the canopy. During flowering I keep it also at 10 inches, but when I use shooting powder I move it 14-18 inches above the canopy.

Thanks CUrly! Just getting things dialed in with the LEDs finally. They are dense as fuck and pretty big! Especially for an OG/Bubba Strain.

ya man they really are congrats on that bro! just takes a bit of time with leds and everything gets going back to normal

2 500watt blackstars with a power draw around 608 watts. I've had 6 plants in this 4 x4 tent. I average 2-3 zips per plant. Most I got was 18 zips out of 6 la confidential

So tomorrow is harvest day! Ive had my lights out since 7pm thursday and I will begin to harvest tomorrow morning. Ive checked trichs from the bottom to the top of each plant and they are 95% milky 2%amber and 3% clear. These buds have definitely fattened up the last couple days! Look how thick those top colas are, its as big as a 17oz bottle of water! Pretty impressive for some LEDs eh? I know some people are skeptical still about LED grows, and the capabilities of growing dense fat buds. Well I was one of those peeps, but now I am a believer! I took some pics of the bottom buds, and they aren't popcorn either! Dense lil rocks! So no question about penetration! I could have probably grown 4 plants under one light, but Im paranoid and I like to "Go big or Go Home", so I threw in 2 to give me a great footprint. I have made me initial investment on these lights back a few times over now, and I still have at least another 40,000 hours of life left out of these LEDs. Anyways, Ill take some pics of my harvest tomorrow. IM just preparing for the pain in the ass harvesting myself. Thats why I dropped down to 4 plants, I couldn't handle harvesting for 12-14 hours! All I do is cuss and feel like im in bud trimming twilight zone. Im sure Ill have some of that tomorrow...lol
