Hey guys (and gals), This i my first grow so I'd thought i'd share it with everyone so leave your feed back

-My seeds have already germinated and i planted one of the seeds about a couple of hours ago

these are actually some of my buddies regs (in florida thats what we call less than average bud) seeds. i bought some crip(this is what we call great bud in florida) seeds from another friend (I know its crip cause i smoked the bud with him), but i wanted to start with "expendable" bud.

Day 2

the seeds havent sprouted yet as expected (They took a wek and a half to germ) , but when they sprout, I'm not sure if i am to put them in a light source right away. the reason being was that some kid with no creditablity told me keep them in the dark for a few days after they sprouted which makes absolutley no sense to me.

another question, could i use a 31-11-11 for fertalizer (thats the closest i have to the apropriate formula right at my house.

Well from what I learned on this thread its a good thing to put them under some light as soon as they sprout so they can start reaching for the sky. My 2 have just sprouted and they are reaching for the sky well the light and its beautiful.

Day 3-4

(sorry if this is bland, i just got back from a 13 hour shift)

My plant sprouted on day 3 and has been growing for one full day. in about a week and one half, Im going to switch my plant to grow outside (nothing beats the tropic sun) cause my parents are getting suspicious. I PH tested the water im growing with and it read at about a 7.2 (neutral) and as soon as possible i will test the soil, but i cant find a soil PH tester for soil. Any sugestions?

Day 5

The sprout grew 2-3 time is lenght in 10 hours since my last post!!! is this growth rate good or bad (sorry about the picture quality, the pics were taken w/ a camera phone)?

they are stretching, they are not getting enough light, it's too far away, move it closer soon and burn the stems for support

home depot sells one for about 20 bucks.
