I think for indoor that might be the ultimate way to grow once you get the hang of it (pun intended) I have never done it, but so many have around here that I know Ill get it.

I would like someone to please explain in detail why a SCRoG setup yields more, is it because you train just the buds to come through the screen and keep the fan leaves below?

More surface area sees the light and better use of given space, thats my take on it anyway.

More surface area overall or for bud sites? I already fill my 5x5 tent up with my 4 plants so I don't know if just surface area is going to get me more yield.

I am confusing vertical growing with a traditional scrog...lol. So at this point I dont really know either.

A well executed scrog will have the entire screen filled with budding sites that are close in size. Scrogging is just extreme training and is one of many ways to increase your yield.
