Spring 2008 grow/420 Harvest - Cool Cab

Well YAY, I now get to start my second grow in the Cool Cab (from sunlight sheds).

For this grow I've set
3x Northern Lights
3x American Dream and
1x Juicy Fruit ...

They will be under a 600w MH for veg with added DIY C02.

They were all started from clones and I'm hoping to have a short veg of about 2 weeks, maybe a few days more then switch to 12's.
Here are some photos a week ago, as of the 21st February when I planted them, my aim is to be able to harvest on 420 - 20 April. I've managed to time things right for the past two years, to get the same harvest date (I swear it tastes better

)

Seeing as NL and AD both have a 6 week flower time, I should be able to make it. I love weed

And an update for today 29th February

Plants are coming along nicely, hopefully they'll just need one more week to veg.

I've also been playing with my nursery plants, as I have more than enough. So I've tried tying up a stretch plant (American Dream from seed) into a knot and see what happens.

You mean the Cool Cab (or the cool tube). I'd say yes for both anyway.

Sure you can make the cab yourself for half the price, but I know for me personally, I didn't want to have to figure out how to make it, and then make it nice and neat (it would come out a bit messy I bet). I'm a stoner, whatcha expect

too lazy.

Anyways, now if I want another cab I'll be able to make it myself as I can copy how this one was set up, it is quite simple really.

I replanted the four strongest in 2 gal paint buckets
2 x NL and
2 x AD2

I'm going to let one of the Juicy Fruit clones I have grow out in it's 1/4 gal bucket. That's the small one in the front with the yellow tab in the pot.

I'm using coloured tabs for the different strains I'm growing
Yellow - Juicy Fruit
Green - Northern Lights
Blue - American Dream

The two plants in the back are the NL and 2 in front are AD
The small plant to the left front is the male I have that I want to flower to get some pollen.

10th March 2008

Decided to go with a scrog.. so I made my own screen using wooden dowels and some plastic 1" square netting.

Meanwhile, I had a male in a separate room getting ready to flower so I could collect some pollen.

Starting to fill the screen out nicely now. Unfortunately, I switched over to 12/12 a little too late so I won't get a 4/20 harvest date, but maybe a 4/25 or so.

The screen has filled out nicely now. It's been 10 days of 12/12 (switched on 11th March).

Feeding has been around 800-900 ppm of Flora Nova Bloom with 10cc's p/gal of FloraNectar (man this stuff smells nice).
