It is weird because the bigger plants look like they need more nitrogen and zinc, but also show signs of nute burn. It could be a lockout condition.
What is the PH of your water? What nutrients are you using?
Because of over watering, consider mixing a bunch more perlite in your soil. Maybe 20% more. That will really allow it to drain through while keeping the soil moist enough for growth without being completely saturated. You'll water more, but the trade off is great.
No its def not nute burn, coz when they got it they didn't have any nutes at all, not even in the soil, they got that just before I transplanted them, they were very close to the lights and so on, not sure but as soon as I moved up the lights the yellow stopped..I'm not sure what happend there.
The ph I tested the other day was 6.4 for the one fed with purified water and 6.2 for the one fed with nutes at 1/4 recomended dosage. I'm using sea grow liq organic fert. Canot get anything else now..as you can see the new leaves of #1, the bushy plants, are not yellow or black or anything, they are perfectly fine, ever since transplanted them and started feeding them
I checked on them today, growth is slower again, not sure why, they havnt had nutes for about 5 days I think, will water tomorow morning, 3days after my last watering. They will receive nutes with their next watering, the last 2 waterings were purified water only. As soon as the next set of leaves are big enough I will top #2 and start lst, I moved the smaller light closer to the right of #2 to help with the growth coming from the sides. I decided that when they are 2 months old they will go into flowering, I will buy 4 more 26watt 2400k cfl and flip them! After that my better grow will start, will get legit soil etc with some cheese seeds! Will upload pics tomorow
finally I can update! Been having problems with logging in and so on..so its day 37 already! Actually the slowest 37 days of my life! Today is pure water day for them, hope they will pick up again as everytime I water them I see a difference in growth!
#1 still has not really stretched, not idea why, but her side branches are bursting through se sides! So I moved ons light closer, the smaller 26watt cfl I had left, I also topped her last night so it will be a slow recovery, but I'm still testing this are, see what space I have to play with so I'm want them to bexome nice and bushy!!
#2 has stretched a lot since the last update, well about 3cm! Her lateral growth also picked up and branches are coming from everywhere. I fimmed her a few days ago, maybe 5, she's only growing 3 or 4 new tops, think I fucked it up but its fine, like I said still learning!
I decided to scrap the clones, will make later!
The MAIN thing is I saw hairs..right at the top, 2nd node from the top the are little green tipe balls things that looks like they have burst open with 2 little white hairs poking out of it..now I have done a lot of research but its still my first time doing this so I can't be sure, but the plants have been under 24/0 since seed, so are those pre-flowers or what can they be?? I'm kinda excited coz if its a female I will be very happy! No sign of any of this on #1 yet.. In the pics you will see a very very small spec of white ate the second node, its really really small on the photo and the. Cam I'm using is from my cellphone so its shitty pics..
Checked on them again and the little hairs have gotten a little bigger, stille only 2 sets of hairs..one 1 node on opposite sides, hope they get more soon!
It MUST be female preflowers, #2 got more, about 6-8 sets of them..on about 3 of 4 node there is a little thing with 2 white hairs coming out of it! Saw that #1 started developing something there aswell, so far just a little bump there but its coming on more than 1 node so only time will tell! Will update tomorrow with some pictures and so!
Its almost 1 month and 2 weeks! Damn if only they grew like they are doing now! Most of the growth came from the last 2-3 weeks. So they have been doing well, I changed the lights a little, moved them to their side and added the reflector too, they had another fert feed today, I feed them every 3 days in the morning at 8 and nutes every other day.
I changed the lighting from 24/0 to 18/6, watched their lights switch off at 12 for the second night, will go back on at 6, I'm using a digital timer.

#2 is doin very well, after a long struggle of being fimmed, transplanted, moved, everything, she is bushing out and growing nicely, will start fim in about 1 week! Fimmed top is doing good and sprouting out a few tops! And the hairs on the nodes have increased so she is definitly a female

Nice you got the cfl mounted sideways plants looking rad dude should try add another cfl like the colour of that small one which is warm white 2700k . Thats if you got females cant tell quite yet but you should change the photoperiod to 12 /12 dude . Peace keen to see the results .
