Can someone tell me what the clay pellets do ?
Are they just for weight or to cover the rockwool or what? |

Hey green thanks for stopping by to be honest I have wondered the same damn thing I am suing them because everyone said its the best for hydo, something about themholdingoxygen or something, but honestly I have been experimenting, and I am using aquarium gravel in one of the pods and I notice no differece. |

I have started 6 in a home made DWC and put 3 1/2 " pots with a block of rockwool in it nothing else , after a few days I see them starting to turn green so at the time all I had was some purlite ( not proper spelling)so I covered the blocks with that seems to to work
Any thoughts? |

yes yourboy I was using it for a minute but it fuckd my ph all up so I went back to the sponges I have them covered with some gravel and its working good greendave I am not a huge fan of rocwool for the aforementioned reason, I am currently looking for a viable option in my bubler as it stands I have to adjust the ph at least once a day and I am positive it is due to the rocwool
update, all plants look good, the 6 in the AG all look well as do the 3 in the bubler all 3 have some roots coming out of the pot and into the soup I will get some update picturesup soon, I plan to go ahead and go 12/12 in the bubler I know my yield wont be great but I want to sex and hopefully then clone and veg in the AG |

So i shut the lights out at 8 last night they should be back on in about an hour, I am going to go ahead and go 12/12 with the bubler so I can eliminate the males, my plan is that if a plant that is in the bubler turns out to be male or hermie it will obviously be removed and replaced with one of the plants in the AG, my goal is to use the box to flower and the AG to veg start seeds and clone.... does this sound like a good plan, I would like to have 3 plants in flwer at all times and at least 6 clones, or plants to be sexed in the AG, the AG wil run 24/7 i dont plan to flower with it |

hey thanks for stopping by dave so far so good no problems to report thepalnts are all growing pretty well and I finally got a new camera so the pics will be better and more often |
