mixbag from seed. sun/ metal halide/ cfl

so about 6 weeks ago someone dropped off 4 plants that were about 6 inches tall and 1 month old. they were grown in non direct sunlight and needed love and care. Being this was my first grow, I jumped into it head on. Not knowing anything at all, I just continued to grow using the sunlight's natural rays. After pre flower and topping about 22 days ago, I started the 12/12 cycle. As of now, plants have a decent amount of pistils forming, but no real bud formation. I was told the strain was purple star. They stand right now 27inches, and are doing quite well I assume. I guess once a week, I will write some sort of story. Pictures from Sunlight, Metal Halide, and now cfl for flower (due to heat from HPS with such a small space). ( pictures were taking from april 18th to may 30th 2012

Any information, or tips will not be discredited. I don't know if these are purple star/ I don't even know why they havent started forming flowers after 20+ days into flowering. Any help please.
