    Default My first T5 SCROG of Chemdog PICS ADDED!

    Hey everyone, I'm new to this site so I wanted to put up a grow journal so you guys could see what I'm up to and how I do things.

    I will start posting picture here to keep everyone up to speed but I have already post videos on youtube and I haven't taken a bunch of pictures to backtrack so I'm gonna start with links to the videos and update from there.

    These plants were mothers that I retired and decided to scrog up in a cabinet that I built. I knew I didn't have the space to flower the mothers under my HPS and I always wanted to try scrogging and T5's so this seemed to be a good idea. I'm in week 7 now and things are progressing along much better than I anticipated. Any feedback is appreciated either positive or negative as my feelings dont get hurt to easy . thanks for checking it out. Talk to yall soon.

    8 bulb 4 footer from HTG called a Slimline (it's the cheapest one I could find). I'm using 6 3000k agromax bulbs and 2 6400k agromax bulbs.

    Here are some pictures I took today, which is day 46. They look better everyday, just swelling and swelling I have backed off of the nutes a little but have bumped up the sweetener for this week. All of the trichs are now cloudy and only a few are amber so I am hoping to flush these in a week or so. I'm gonna just keep checking everyday and see what she tells me but I am getting a little impatient. Hopefully they will be done soon. Thoughts?

    hi aj! nice! i use a 8 tube t-5 for my veg. i have never tried to bloom under it, but wow. im impressed! i think the closeness makes up for alot.
    anyway, a while back, i traded one of my jack herer clones, for a "chemdawg". no number. just chemdawg. it looks more sativa, and has thiner leaves. anyway, im going to cut a few clones tonight. i put one jack herer outside today, to make it a total of three out there. right in my flower bed. people dont notice em. anyway. back to the chemdawg i have aquired. are the buds for a sativa preety firm? i wonder for potency, how it will compare, to my pride and joy, the bc godbud? and how about yield? i was getting like 3.5 oz per god, in 3 gal soil, under 600. but i have swithed to 5 gal, and 1000 watt. its funny how some produce more than others, and all the same cutting. some dont even look like the same strain, in gro. anyway, they look nice! what is the time on this steain? i do my gods and herers at ten weeks.

    There are certainly many versions of Chemdog/Chemdawg running around. I have the apothecary genetics version and it shows all of the traits that are consistent with what is commonly accepted as chemdog. The pheno that I am growing is done between 9 and 10 weeks and, under my HPS, yields what I would call "above average" (close to a gram/w) in a SOG. I cannot yet comment on what this is going to yield in this setup but I am guessing somewhere around 6-7 oz. I also couldn't possible compare this strain to what you are growing but I am going to get this crop lab tested so I know exactly what I is.
