First grow journal-Super Skunk,Sensi Star and Early Girl
This is my first grow journal. I have been on the site for over 3 years and I thought "its time to start a journal finally" and here I go. I am well into my grow,4 days into flower. As the title reads I have 1 Super Skunk 1 Sensi Star and 1 Early Girl. I vegged them under 2 T8 shoplights with 1 warm and 1 cool bulb in each fixture. I use Pro-Mix Ultimate Organic with mycorrhizae, probably the best and only store bought soil I recommend. I am using Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice Micro and Bloom for the whole grow using the Lucas Formula. 8ML micro and 16ML bloom with 1 tsp of epsom salts added ever two weeks to their feeding. I also use occasionally superthrive(usually only when they look a little stressed or after transplant) and I use H2O2 at 1/4 cup per gallon at every feeding. During veg I fed every other watering. During flower I will feed every watering. I plan on adding AN big bud and bud candy at week 4 of flower to boost flowering and help them swell. They are now in 5 gallon buckets under a 400W HPS with super hps bulb. I use a filter queen defender for odor control(doesn t work too good) and am about to invest in the growbright 4" inline fan and filter combo which should knock out the skunk in my room. My temps stay a constant 77F during lights on and drop to 70 at lights off thanks too my new ac. It was a bitch to control without one. Im suprised I made it through veg without problems. I am adding pics which were taken a week ago. I will add recent pictures tomorrow.

They only appear droopy because I took them out of their area and misted them heavily with carbonated water. I now have a DIY Co2 system in my area. I am using the active yeast/sugar/water method and each plant has its own 1 gallon jug of Co2. I run the hose from out the top of the jug into a little cup of water which sets on top of the soil. If its bubbling I know its active, when it stops bubbling I know to change it out. Works great I have noticed major improvements in growth. A bit stinky but I get over it lol.

They are doing better than I anticipated. Since I threw them into 5 gallon buckets the growth has exploded. I also prepped my soil a few days a head of time...getting it nice and wet and letting it sit covered for a few days to get the beneficial fungi going before I transplanted. They transitioned perfectly, no stress and right back to growing. They are on day 6 of flower. All of them have preflowers but the smaller one. It has calyxes but no white hairs popping yet. No signs of hermie anywhere...Im stoked. 4 more weeks and I can start posting some bud porn

Thanks guys and gals! I am super happy with what is going on in my garden. I really appreciate the comments
I will be adding 6 clones to the flower room in about 2 weeks. I was able to get 9 healthy clones out of the 3 plants bottom branches. I might get lucky enough to get a couple more before the early flower stretch is over. After that branches slow down growth and trimming anything other than dead or dying leaves can stress them quickly. Im only gonna veg the clones for a week after they have roots poking out of the peat pods.(right now there are just small nubs starting) My clone cab is pretty small 16 inches wide by 16 inches deep and 2 foot in height so I will have to get them out quick so I have room to turn 3 of the clones into new moms for the next grow. I had a 100% success rate with this round of clones. All is well in the land of 420! lol

I made a minor booboo and the worst kind of booboo to make during flower is accidentally bumping a mechanical timer and not knowing a couple tabs popped down during the lights off cycle. I think they were on for about 30 minutes...I flipped the switch to my room right away. This is THE only time they have ever been interupted in their dark cycle and I have heard as long as its a one time thing..chances of hermie are very low. I hope this is true. I would hate to have to start over with clones. Took a lot of work to get these ladies as big as they are lol. I had a digital timer but it had a red indicator light so I scraped it for the mechanical as it has no lights. Now I am going by the timer on my cell phone and a flip of the switch on the wall. It has always worked best for me because night and day...all I do is think about my plants. I went in to check for light leaks about 6 hours into the dark cycle, noticed my ac tripped the power strip because I had my filter plugged into it, fixed that and closed the door(I have the ac plugged into a strip because its on the same circuit as my lights and I would rather it trip the strip than the whole circuit and shut the lights off
). I noticed the peripheral of the plastic I have on was lit up. Something just told me to go in there and check lol!

thats lame fella..... well hopefully nothing bad will come of it, i don't think it'll stress em too much.
i know the feeling when my girls were growing they became part of the family.... and i did get into trouble for neglecting the GF a little hahaha

They seem ok..but only time will tell. Stupid ac lol. I checked the plug on it and now I know what the problem is. The plug is burnt. Im sure this is causing a surge in electricity and causing the circuit to trip. Im wondering...can I replace the plug on the ac or will that just make things more unstable? I would hate to have to tear it out of the window along with the sheeting that is keeping it lightproof. That took awhile to get set up. The ac blows super cold air so I'm hoping I can save it. If not it's back to keeping the door to the grow all open all night so my wall unit can semi cool it off back there. Everything was going so perfect....I guess something has to go wrong though and I hope that was all that is in store for me.
