hi guys so this is my first grow. all tips/suggestions/comments/flames/compliments etc are welcome. the plants are 19 days old today and in these pictures also, are they a good size how do they look? i burned two of them with the lgiht when they were only about a week old, but they seem to have recovered nicely for the most part. theres a small bit of canoeing on two of them also so if you could tell me what that might be id appreciate it, heres my setup.
Light : 250W HPS
nutes : biobizz. bio grow and bio bloom
medium : organic potting soil
i transferred them at 14 days from 5 inch pots to 3 gallons.
its hard to find much info on cloud 9 online.. not a very popular choice for growers so anyone with experience with this plant if you can let me know how your grow went and the temperment of the plant that'd be great. happy growing!

plants looking good. how far away is your light? I also have a 250w hps. I put mine 6in away from the tops with a fan blowing on the top part of plant. id say 1ft away max for light for small plants in veg. make sure the fan is making them dance a little. heres my plants day19 flower. good luck and monster harvest.

you need some perlite added. the top lair you stir what does that do for the roots under?
let air in no? so i definitely need perlite ? i thought that was just a choice no? thnx for your input greatly appreciated + rep

you dont need perlite. you can use alternatives its just that you need something in there to give the roots air. eventually as you keep watering the soil will keep compacting under the surface and basically keep the roots from breathing which i believe is called root rot.
o nobody ever grows in just soil? i dug down a little and roots are everywhere and nice and white and healthy and the soil doesnt seem extremely hard or compact.
