Got them off Craigslist for $200. Had patience and kept looking over about 4 days for the right seller!

After asking hundreds of questions and research i think I'm saving up for my first grow purchase!!! If you can think of anything else I need please speak up!!! I was thinking maybe switch out 600w HPS for a 400w..simply because it's a little cheaper, my light bill would be a little cheaper..and do you think I would lose much yield in a 4X4 tent if I switched to a 400w from the 600w?

I'd do a 3x3 with a 400. Are you not able to use Craig's? I'd always try for used first.

My wife has adjusted quicker than I expected. She said one time something about how loud it is and that was it. 'twas a great day, she had her last final today for nursing school so we went out to Japanese food to celebrate her passing it. Then she snuck into my weed box when I wasnt looking and hit it a few times. Then the night got fun! Ok that's all for now.

Oh and damn it's bright when I open that tent up! I need to clean the glass I noticed but I gotta pull the bulb out to do it so maybe tomorrow I'll get froggy enough.

Yeah I'm still searching around..what kinda yields you pull with 400w in a 3X3?

My bad, I miss read..thought you had one. What kinda yields do you think you could pull out of there?

I'd expect at least a 1/2 gram per watt on anything I did, above that is just extra goodness. So with a 400 I'd want at least 5.5oz off a full tent.

The guy I bought this setup from was selling a full tent. In addition to my stuff he also had a 4x4 tent. Carbon filter, t5 setup for veg, timers, ducting, everything for another $100. Yeah it would have been a no brainer to pick it all up even though I didn't need it but I didn't want to hear the old lady when I came home spending another 100
