Mystery strain first time grow

Hi I'm new at growing and was looking for some advice cause I'm truly shitty at this! Still I did read tons of info and watched lots of videos but having no experience I've made critical errors.
Here is the story: I bought 4 different quality seeds learning the hard way. Soaked them in cups for 48 hours then planted them in jiffy pots inside a dome...and killed them with too much water. Bought 4 new seeds and used the paper towel method inside a plastic bag with heat from a electric massage mat and in the dark. Then like an idiot stoner I've dropped 3 seeds which 2 went on the ground. I washed them a little with pure water. Then I had no idea which seed was which strain. Later 2 seeds sprouted and planted in jiffy pots but kept inside heated plastic bags...in conclusion only one survived!

The mystery seed's strain could be: Acapulco gold or LSD or Vanilla Kush or Super Lemon Haze.
When can you start to tell which strain it could be?

Settings: 400w HPS with electronic ballast inside a small room with good air flow and extraction. Using coco medium with proper nutrients.
Temperature around 25-29c at day and 20 at night. Humidity controlled for 50%. 19 hours of light.

8th day of growth, transplanted in 2 gallon pot of coco. The light was at 3 feet which I think was too far cause it seemed stretched. Now its at 2.5 feet.
What would be the best height for a 400w HPS and plant this small?
When is the best time to start nutrients? Can I start right away with a very diluted solution?
Should I plant it deeper in soil to repair the curve?
If I do or see something wrong please tell me! Thanks!

I'd wait on the nutes to at least another node, just a personal preference. I'd also ditch the hps for MH right now just another personal preference.

Ohk I will wait thanks for the reply. Its just that I see others plant at same day and they are 2x or 3x bigger than mine and wondering why. I don't have a MH yet but will eventually split the room in half and make a veg room with fluorescent lighting.

9th day of growth, dropped light at 2 foot high and planted the stem deeper. But I think I've hurt the plant a little by not digging enough to replant. Felt a little resistance when pulled so maybe damaged a root. I will lash myself 100 times for this.

hps is better for flowering...the red light promotes longer internodes, which is usually not desired during veg. Blue light from an MH promotes tighter internodes. Personally, i just veg with a cfl and sunlight from the window. It's not as fast as with an mh, but it saves a ton of cash...

Your best bet at determining the strain would be to wait until mid/end or flowering. If you can describe the smell of the resin glands when you wipe them with your fingers, I might be able to tell you what you got there. Acapulco Gold is sour and grapefruity, SLH is sweet and lemony, not sour. LSD is hard to describe...floral, slightly citrusy. Can't say much about the VK...only smoked it once...

10th & 11th day, growth stalled hoping not dying.

16th day, still not growing much. Was using pure water to feed from birth. 3 days ago started using tap water and it turned pale with new brown spots appeared today. Will test the PH tomorrow and start a small dose of nutrients soon. Today started using CFL lighting but the pic was taken before using new lights so its not the problem.

18th day, not looking good probably dying. My water's PH is over 8 so I added lemon juice now at around 7. I water the 2 gallon pot once per day with around 1 liter. No nutrients yet.

The site had a data lost so here is the lost pics. The plant was dying because I watered too much having no experience with any plants before. But now all is under control. The plant was reborn with a flush when dried. Now watering each 5 days with 1/4 nutrients at pH 6.5 with real pH down. And using new fluorescent lighting for veg 6400k t8s + 2700k CFLs.
