750w CFL grow with LST Autoflower with Photoperiod
Welcome to my first Grow Journal!
Of course, I wish to thank the Rollitup Forum. This will be my 5th grow and it all started with the information here. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to post and share their knowledge.
Now, with Kid Rock's newest album (Born Free) in the background....onto the journal...
My Grow Setup:
I have constructed a homemade grow tent with a pvc pipe tent frame wrapped with white blackout fabric. It is ~ 4 ft tall with a 2.5ft x 2.5ft radius.
From the top hanging via chains to allow for light adjustment, I have a plywood sheet with 4 light strips. There are a total of 23 CFL bulbs with a total of 744watts. (Actual, not the replacement value) I run mixed lighting throughout the grow. Admittedly, it is not a perfect mix, but it has gotten me good results in the past. It is broken down here:

I have a cheap tornado fan at the bottom venting air out the top where I have a window fan to help the heat escape.
On my last harvest I totaled 2 oz off of four plants, but only had ~500watts for most of that grow. (Also harvested about 2 week early due to holiday travels...d'oh!)
Grow Outline:
I will be plainting three autos and 2 photo-period strains. I will be running 18/6 until the autos finish. At that time I will switch over to 12/12 and finish the photo-period strains. Also, when I switch to 12/12 I will plant two more autos. I do enjoy Low Stress Training the plants, gives me something to do. I will be LSTing the ladies around the sides of their pots. In upcoming pictures you will see where I have already drilled screws into the pots to aid in the LST process. Buckle your seatbelts kids, this is gonna be a ride!

January 28th, 2012 - Seed Germination:
I germinated all the seeds using the moist paper towel in a ziploc baggy method. I left the seeds on top of my receiver for warmth and came back two days later. Below are pics of all of the seedlings:
Moby Dick never did break out of the seed, when I broke it open it was all black and rotted on the inside. I have planted a Delicious seeds Fruity Chronic Juice in it's place, its the runt due to it being 6 days behind....we now have someone to "root" for during this grow...an underdog if you will....
Blueberry Gum had a little stunting with the transition and is behind the other three from 1.30.
Thank you Andromedmax,
This is about the kind of system Im wanting to do. But im going to cut down the lights and only do a plant at a time.
What is your favorite Autoflowering strain, and what seed supplier do you like best? Im going to do this for around 20 months
to build up a little retirement stash. I thinking your yielding around 14 grams per plant?
Thank you for your time.

I've only grown one other auto strain, and it was my first grow...slo-ryder. Was decent, but nothing I would ever brag about...the harvest on that was very minimal around the 8gram area for that grow....I'll be expecting about 14grams (1/2oz) per plant for the autos this grow. With the photoperiods, I'm hoping for double due to the extend veg time I'll be giving it. (cross fingers)
Something happened, and a lot of my posts have disappeared from this thread...so I shall try to re-upload my posts with pictures, but unfortunately I don't have the text saved, so I'm gonna have to wing it....
This week I started some LSTing of Green-O-Matic and Hobbit. Mikromachine might get LSTed by the end of the week if she gets tall enough. FCJ has blown by blueberry gum, poor thing just cant catch a break.
Music: Paul Simon's Graceland Album
Week 3 Rankings:
1. Green-O-Matic
2. Hobbit

4. Fruity Chronic Juice
5. Blueberry Gum (can she recover....tune in to find out!)
