I wouldn't mind entering this, but "Daily" entries??? Pics every other day??? There's "NOTHING" going on to warrant that many entries. It would be totally boring! I mean, I guess I could talk about hang nails and whacking off, like that Pink person. A good grow journal is updated weekly. That way you can really see growth rates. Just my opinion............

I see your issue...

Here's the deal... THE JOURNAL needs to be detailed enough so that ANYBODY can replicate the grow..

The pH of water is almost 100% vital to every grow.... there are many areas in the UNITED states, where the soil and water pH are perfect for growing Cannabis and the growers never have to CHECK their PH..

Many growers in this area don't even KNOW what PH IS... because they are blessed with a perfect growing condition..

BUT, the point of the journal contest is to allow others to learn and replicate your grow... so the PH is vital...

It cost less than $10 to check the pH of your water and it takes less than 30 seconds.... and this 10$ test kit can last you a life time...

so, you are gonna have to sack it up and test your water...

A healthy Cannabis plant has a minimum of 1 inch vertical growth every day, and commonly doubles its mass every 10 days during veg stage...

the point of daily pictures is so OTHER people can CHECK to see exactly HOW your plant is doing compared to THEIR plant...

the point of THE JOURNALS entered in the JOURNAL CONTEST is FOR replication.. sop that others can EXACTLY replicate the grow..

I actually have no idea what a "good" grow journal IS.... for this contest we are looking for daily journals (that way you can really see the growth rates).. NOT "good" journals..

I see boring journals all the freakin time. There will be a post with some details and a couple pics. Then, pages upon pages of shitzen. It's kinda like the thread is all about tangents. And then one day another pic or two and a bit of grow info. Then more of the same gibberish for a couple more pages. I see it all the time on many sites. I pretty much shy away from journal grow threads anymore. Although, I may start one here, LOL! No shitzen though!!!
