First Grow 4 DWC, 3 Soil, 1 Coco (ADVICE WELCOME!)

Okay, so its been 24 days since my last up date. The ladies are at day 31 flowering - I consider today the 1/2 way mark.

The temps have been ranging in the H83 to L62.
humidity 62 to 45%



Harliquin-Hydro/AN Jungle Juice 45in tall, lots of bud production, smells of orange starbursts, *some pistils are looking almost burnt, but the buds are no where near too close to the light?

Har- Soil/organic 33in tall, more production than hydro as for size of buds, of course the hydro one has more sites. Same smell as Hydro maybe a little more pungent. This plant is also having some pistils darkening.

Medno Purps- Same thing with these plants, all the soil verse hydro actually, the main cola on all the soil plants is larger than that of the hydro. Though the Hydro plants are much larger over all. I am worried about my both Mendo Purps, their pistils are changing red and there is little bud production on the hydro’s cola. Any ideas? Anyone have any experience with purple plants?


The Blue Dream has been a lot of yellow fan leaves. I pretty sure it is due to me haveing 2 in one 3 gal net pot and they are not getting enough nutes. So today I gave em 1500ppm to see how they like it.

I added 2 24W 10.UVB bulbs today and will be switching my 600w with a 1000 for the last half of flower. I just don't know if I’ll be able to because of the mendo and har hydro’s growing into the reflector. It’s been way too humid and I saw some mildew or something turning some leaves a weird grayish brown. Got to drop the dime and go for a dehumidifier I guess… any ideas for a diy humidity fix?

Little up date. Things are in their final run I think. A couple problems have arose that weren’t able to get fixed. One being the soil Harlequin has been yellowing for some time now and is not looking good. It looked to be a calcium deficiency as all the others except for the soil bluedream, which has 2 plants in it. So I flushed and bumped up the nutes for a couple weeks but its still all yellow and down looking. The second problem came when the hydro mendo purps began getting floppy branches and falling over. I think it was nute burn, because its nutes were always around 1300 around that time.

I decided to give ‘em a 14 day flush, and set the timing of it to harvest right around the end of their 7th week into the 8th. I have been using a light cycle of starting with 12/12, at 22 days into flower i switch to 11 1/2on to 12 1/2 off, 41 days in I swapped the 600w for a 1000w, and at 44 days I switched it to 11/13off. This cycle is supposed to finish them up a bit faster, let them get a little fatter, copy outdoor light cycles, and let the plants express different characteristics.

They are all at day 46 of flower 3 of their flush. Should I add anything during the flush? some carbs - molasses?




Any ideas/suggestions for the hydro mendo purps that went limp and the yellow soil harlequin & blue dream?

I tried a little quick dried hydro Mp and wow this is going to be some killer herb! The high is a face knocker right after exhalation. Heavy Stone. Taste pretty good too, after a flush and cure… This is going to be to good.


The next set of girls have all been FIMMED, Topped, Scroged, cropped, and trained. I am very excited to see the differences in unmanipulated cannabis to a manicured plant.

Most hairs turned red starting around day 30-38. It that a lil early for them to be turning?

I used a custom light cycle of 12/12off for the first 3 weeks, then 11.5/12.5 for 3, now at day five of 11/13. I was told by quite the reputable breeder to experiment with light cycle to emphasize phenotypes, finish earlier, and fatten then up sooner… it’s also supposed to copy nature a little more than 12/12.

I got 4 strains going 3 of which there are one organic soil and one hydro w ANJJ.

Light 600W HPS for veg and flower (kept 32in away until they grew up to it), 18/6 veg, 2 desert reptile UVB bulbs (5.5 hrs in middle of day only during flower)(Added 33 days into flower), 41 days in upgraded to 1000W, 1st 3 weeks 12/12, 2nd 3 11.5/12.5off, and last bit has been 11/13.
-Air Outside vented in with booster inline fans through to tent bottom. Outtake through hood and out of tent and through a filter.
-Nutes Veg for Hydro plant: AN Jungle Juice 3 part, Roots Excel, & SuperThrive - I stopped adding this to the hydro’s because I heard it would contribute to root rot. Does anyone know if this is true? For the Soil plant: Earth Juice 3 part (G,M,B) and Superthrive. Oh and lots of GH ph up to get the bubbled organic nutes right - which I just learned never to add! runoff at around 7.1.
For flower the hydros got the an 3 part, GH Floralicious, and Ionic PK Boost. H202 when needed. For the soil plants it was EJ, ST, and floralocious organic base enhancer.
