Hey guys. This is my HINDU KUSH and CALI ORANGE grow journal. All comments welcome.

First up, The Setup Explained
Iv Got a 600wHPS and a 400wHPS in a closet in my room. Its approx. 2ft Wide x 8ft Long x 7ft Tall. I had to get some really good ventilation to keep it within a good temp range. Iv got 2x Inline 250cfm 150mm Fans (one IN and one OUT). I also have a exhaust fan in the roof, Its an industrial kitchen exhaust fan. I also have a inline fan just blowing air up to the exhaust fan.

The Setup in easy reading style:
Lights - 600wHPS and a 400wHPS
Plants - Hindu Kush and Cali Orange (both nirvana stock)
Ventilation - 3 Inline 150mm's, 1 35cm industrial exhaust roof fan.




THE GROW BEGINS
Well i got 10 Hindu Kush seeds from nirvana. Germinated them in paper towels and in less than 48 hours i had 10 germed seeds. I got some of this seedling mix i find works well and planted the seeds in there. Then they went under the 400HPS on 24/0. Over night i had 8 sprouts. I started the cali oranges with the same process a few weeks ago. The Hindu Kush is under the 400w and the Cali-O is under the 600w.

Here are some pics of them right now. All Seem to be going well. Im using some BUSH MASTER nutrients on the Cali O right now. 9/10 of the Hindu Kush have sprouted so far.

Just a quick update before work. Still 9/10 Hindu Kush have sprouted. Little buggers takin its time. The cali O are growing strong as ever still on 24/0. Going to give them a nice big hit of some BUSH MASTER when i get home.

No comments? oh well il still post up some updates. The Cali Orange are goin nicely no problems so far. Still only 9/10 of the Hindu Kush germinated. I dont think the 10th is going to do its thing but il leave it in there anyway. Get some pics as soon as the cam is charged.

those c. oranges look damn good bro. as for the hkush, some strains are just slow starters i suppose, my northern lights are doing the same, 6/10 have germed, two of which sprouted, but compared to the ams seeds, they are slow as hell. all five of my ams sprouted within 18 hrs, i screwed one up, so i am down to four, but they are about 3in tall seedlings with good roots already. hoping this growth pattern continues with the ams cause they are fem seeds, also praying that the nl's catch up once they finally get established. good luck on your grow man, ill be followin your journal watchin that kush, interested in growin some kind of kush myself.

Ye i think maybe i put that seed a little deeper than the others, i remember saying to myself woops thats way deep, oh well 9.10 is good.

AMS i have heard good things about and northern lights is a good pick, im keen to grow some of that. Are you going to have a journal? Youl have to post up some pics of your harvest ye?

i need to get a new camera cord and then figure out how to use it with the computer. (i am a technological ogre) this grow isnt really that great, its some bagseed from some decent shwag, bred with a male from some kickass local kind for future seed stock. started growin the shwag cause i knew weed couldnt be grown that bad, it cant. i have two obviously diff. strains and two phenos of one of them. curious to see how the f1 cross i did comes out compared to the mother plants they came from. all are days away from being finished (for seed) and one has been harvested two days ago. i plan to do a journal on the f1's, so i suppose a brief journal of these plants is in order as well. ill try to get on that this weekend.
