| | thanks. and stick with the ebb and flow works better than the drip system. drip systems are good for small plants, but when it comes to large flowering plants they just don't get the coverage, and complete root saturation that flood and drain allows. If you are you using ebb and flow have you thought of maybe using an ultrasonic fogger in addition?it is the most pure and true form of aeroponics. Foggers work great as an ADDITION to something more powerful such as ebb and flow and/or DWC systems. ..The same idea could be said, "LEDs work well as a supplament light to an HID garden." |

| | and oh yea, munch....school me on them foggers regarding adding them to an ebb and flow setup....im interested....as im building a fogger cloner unit now for my babies....but im wondering that it might not work because the roots will be in a medium (starter plugs or something) and the fog wont be to no advantage...what ya think bro
and i see you are using coco....i keep telling people about that damn coco, they dont blv me. me personally, i think coco is an excellent medium for hydro...and will bring that 'soil' taste out that everyone crys about hydro lacks.... |

This will give your UNrooted clones a much higher success rate. |

| | i just dont wanna shock the plants by sitting hydroton or coco around the root system...
fletch has did some aero clone buckets with netpots so you can have RW and hydroton....
btw bro...what kinda coco are you using? any reason you arent using coco specific nutes? any updates? pics? |

| | Filthyfletch uses misters and sprinkler heads. which works great don't get me wrong, but you must use a medium instead of a neoprene collar in that setup. fog is delicate/ most misters are too harsh and will damage an exposed stem, or prevent it from developing roots.Again, foggers deliver water molecules at 5 microns! Fletch is hitting his plants with more like 180 microns or larger with his system. I'm talking about something like this. SH Hydroponics > Mistic Cloner --------Here is a site that will show you a basic set up and idea of what a typical ebb & flow fogger system looks like. Nutramist - Welcome to the new revolution in Hydroponics. ----------Overpriced so make your own.DIY parts and accessories found here. Nutramist Fogger for Hydroponics and Aeroponics by FUTUREGARDEN Keep in mind the reason why they use a medium in those nutramist systems is because they are set up for flood and drain as well. foggers are not recommended to be used alone for large flowering plants.
- I am not sure what type of coco i have. it came with the v-drip that i bought. I'm using mostly a clay mix. 1part coco/2parts clay .the reason people don't like coco or use it i think is because its in small pieces that seeps through net pots, and may clog pumps. Plants love being grown in coco mix and don't need to be watered as often as hygroton. Hygroton is easily recyclable. Its all about personal preference for different types of setups. both mediums work well in soil mixes. Experiment yourself and find out what works best for you. good luck bro

| | Watch this informative video will show you how to set up a DIY system for less than $50. The problem with this guys set up is he uses the cups too early and also there is no need for rooter cubes. Just a neoprene collar and a few other adjustments for faster results. It takes a little more practice and experience, but will pay off huge for people who do a lot of cloning . Not me, but i think this may be the answer your looking for. hope this helps http://www.growyourown-online.com/GY...erbMaster.html | | Tags: aeroponics, ape, cab, clay, coco, drip, ebb, flow, fogger, grape, grow, hygroton, led, neoprene, stealth, ultrasonic | | Tags | aeroponics, ape, box, cab, clay, coco, drip, ebb, flow, fogger, grape, grow, grubbin, hygroton, led, munch, stealth, ultrasonic | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
