    Question Compost Tea(AACT) Biological Grow Journal

    I would like to get any thoughts and or opinions on what i am doing. HELP! I'm growing one plant under 150 Watt HPS in organic compost with only compost tea as my fertilizer (NOTHING ELSE!) that's applied to the soil and foliage. The container medium is roughly a foot tall 8 inches wide kind of like the average rose bucket. I water about once a week with my full strength compost tea (soil and foliar).

    My recipe to make my compost tea is as follows: A 5 gallon bucket is filled with filtered dechlorinated water to almost the top giving the rim of the bucket and surface of the water 4" between each other. I add four bubblers on the bottom of the bucket and use an eco air pump 4. I add 1 tablespoon of Down To Earth's; oyster shell, granular humic acids, kelp meal 1-0.1-2, bat guano 10-6-2, bio live 5-4-2, blood meal 12-0-0. 1 Tablespoon of E.B. Stone's; compost maker 4-4-2, blood meal 13-0-0, Bat Guano 9-2-1. And 1 tablespoon of Sunleaves mexican bat guano 10-1-1 and peruvian seabird guano 10-10-2. I also add 1 cup of Vital Earth's mega worm castings and their organic compost. I reason why I add all of these ingredients is because they are all from different places which gives the AACT a much greater diversity of microbiological species. Once all is mixed in the bucket thoroughly, I readjust the air stones/bubblers and add 1.0 ounce of molasses. I will let it brew for roughly 3 days.

    Starting ppm= 800-830
    Microsiemens= 1650
    PH= 7.05
    Temp= 70.1 degrees

    What do you guys think about this...???

    *good stuff, only thing i'd suggest would be just aerating the tea for 1-2days (tho 72hrs is fine, but you might get more of a peak in microbiology around 24-36hrs..

    I thought 1-2 days was enough time as well, but I've been reading research done by Dr. Elaine Ingham who is one of the leading researchers in AACT and the creator of the soil food and she said to brew for at least 3 days when using the bucket bubble method...I have no idea why she suggests that, but I'd love to know if the answer was out there lol. Thanks for the reply though cannawizard! much appreciated!
