Second grow, First Journal!

Hey guys this is my first grow journal! But my second grow like I said in my Title.

First one didn't turn out too well.

before my first attempt I creeped all over this site and got loads of info from reading
and I decided it was my turn it give it a shot, Even if I failed I wouldn't care.
And I did fail :P
but wow I learned SO much.. Like everyone says,
no matter how much you read you'll learn more by experience.

but blah blah blah I started this grow a few weeks back not sure on the date for my first two plants I'm thinking 7/10 or so. my other two were planted 7/24

3 of them are KC brains Northern Lights.

And the other is Kannabia Special Fem

Right now my plants are under a 24 watt t5 2' tube and one 26 watt clf 6400k

Soil:
Fox Farm Ocean Forest

Nutrients:
Fox Farm Grow Big
Fox Farm Big Bloom

When they are a little bit older they will be transplanted into their new pots and placed into their new room which is 3'x3'x6' tent
with cool tube 400 watt metal halide for veg and a 400watt HPS for flower
and a 170 CFM inline fan for cooling the lamp.
and when they start to smell I will put my carbon filter (:

The first picture is my Kannabia Special Fem at 4 days
my second picture is my youngest Northern Lights at 4 days old also

The other two are Northern Lights at about 19 days
which one of them I topped

They currently don't have any names! if anyone can think of any shout them out!

So we are on day 7 for my youngest (NL and Kannabia Special)

Im not going to post a picture for the other two they seem the same.

Im Worried about how slow they are growing..
ive seen some threads where at 7 days they already have like 4leafs sets.,.
.
So I dont know if its the strain or if im doing something wrong.

The Kannabia seems to be on a mission to grow
but the Northern Lights seem slow.

Any suggestions?

So I decided to give an update on the other 2 plants I have which would be day 24..
(Which is a guess) I dont know their real birth date... I'm a poor father :P

Here are some pictures.
First is where I made the cut. FIM.
You can see some new growth coming.. i'm excited to see how it turns out.

Second is both of my oldest plants.. left one is a lot slower as you can see.. I'm not sure why.

So I just want to post another picture.. Of three of the plants

I put them outside to catch some real sun which they seemed to love!

Ill most likely be doing it again tomorrow! but for longer
they were only out there for 2 hours today before it was bed time for them ):
so tomorrow ill go for about 6 hours

Far left is my Kannabia Special at day 10

the two on the right are the Northern Lights, at day 26

Makes me happy to see that your NL is still small at day 26, you planning on transfering it soon?.. im sure it would love a new pot.

but yes I am planning on it here soon, the store i buy my FF OF is out of stock ):
I think I have enough for 1 5 gallon bucket maybe 1 1/2 we will see.

but I dont get why one isnt really growing ): it looks healthy and all just not really much growth

So I transplanted my two oldest, day 26 into their permanent home

Im worried I might have killed the smaller one because when I was taking it out of the solo cup the soil wasn't wet enough and it kinda fell apart
and it went in the new home kinda crooked and now im scared ):

I guess we will see in the next few days if I killed her.

First went in pretty good im not worried about her.

Second is the one that got fucked up. I hope she is okay ):

So yesterday after the rough transplant she is looking happy again

they seem to love their new homes under a nice 400 watt MH

Just an update not too much has happened but they are looking really goodd (:

I'm in the process of making my room more optimized to being a grow room,
Im thinking of finding a new place to vent the exhaust because its kins of loud
when you stand outside by the window you can hear it,
I am planning on making a box for the inline fan

Update: I made the box, blah blah, it cut a little sound down there the air exits is still the loud part ):
I cant think of any way to make it not as loud, I even tried a Styrofoam cooler to try and muffle the sound but nope ): maybe if I insulate it with like cotton or something...
we will see.

Update of an Update: So I made the hole bigger on the Styrofoam box where the air exits the room and it made it so you cant even hear it unless you stand by it and listen for it

So if anyone wants to see how I made it PM me (: and Ill take some pics

I'm thinking about moving the tent to a different corner of the room so there aren't as many bends in the ducting which will equal better cooling

Last is there I topped her. it was my first time, and it grows completely different thats what I expected! I like it... it looks like ill get 3 shoots but again.. idk what im talking about :P

Nice man finally someone else growing Kannabia Special. Attitude freebie I presume? I'm growing mine outside though. She's a little over 5' tall and has been flowering for at least 2 weeks now. Already seeing some resin production. Little more sativa in her than I was expecting.

When do you plan on flowering?
