Starting a new journal. I had my plant in soil but it was growing really slow. I ordered the aerogarden and threw the plant in there and it took off. I also threw a few more seeds in there that sprouted. I'm using 3 6500k 23w CFL and 1 2700k CFL at the moment. I plan to get more but things seem to be going good as of right now. Heres a few pics.

Pic 3 a few sprouts in the aerogarden

Looking pretty good. Soil to AG is quite a transfer. The supplemented lighting probably isn't really necessary yet, but you're gonna want to get the 42 watters and be sure to blend the spectrum. Blue for Veg and Orange for flower, but i'd recommend both spectrums for the whole grow. Also need more reflection in there. What kind of nutes are you using?

looking good so far...one thing about the AG you need to consider is the size of the roots, the reservour on the AG is not very big...here is your typical hydro root system..good luck..

do you think it would even be worth it to buy a 50 or 70 watt hps for flowering? I know i can buy one at lowes or home depot...the 70 watt for about 50 and the 50 watt is like 35...its those home security lights they come with a ballast

I know there are some folks here that have tried that...but there is always modications that have to be done...so I think is better and more cost effective to just buy a dedicated light...you can get good deals on ebay...
