2nd soil grow 1st journal

alright so....
lights: one hood about 24" above plants
two ballasts 400w mh. 1000w hps.
they use the same base and cord so i switch bulb and ballast when its time to flower.
medium:
11 #3 pots with miracle gro soil
1 power grower eco drip hydro setup
nutes:
for the hydro i use g.h flora 3 part system
for the soil i got some foxfarm grow big and big bloom
plants:
hindu skunk clones and one bubbleberry mother
area:
a 10x12 bedroom with an air vent for intake in the floor and two vent fans
1 747cfm fan to vent the room
1 170cfm fan to cool the light
they both vent to my attic

i started on the 5th of jan its been a week and the plantsare about 1 inch taller than when i planted them its been one week they allare looking good now and what i call praying(when the leaves are aiming to the light)
except one witch i figured wasnt gonna do so good if it doesnt improve ill take it out.
im on an 18/6 veg cycle and ill switch to flower12/12 when they are all about 12 inches

its 15 days in everything looks good. I changed the nutes in my drip bucket and have been using ph'd 5.5 water for the soil no fert. here is a pic

aw yeah. i loves me some grow journal...WITH PICS! i'm anxious to see just how much more the dripper yields over the strongest soiled plant. maybe you can find out for me? looking good. i'm going to hang around for this one.

Nice setup. Looks like we're working with the same lighting setup. I wish I had your space though...

havent posted in a minute . so every thing is good . i added a small rubbermaid 3 gal bubbler to my setup . my plants have grown about 5-9 in since jan 5th to me this seems slow but im patient. ive included a new pic.

what do you think abot the time to size ratio????

so i was gone for a week and had a friend watch my plants. i came home to a beautiful jungle. i mean in a week these things really took off. heres pics ..
i am going to put into flower in a couple days. my two hydro setups are really kickin ass. the bubbler and the drip check it out the bubbler grew about 8 in in 7 days

looks great got one of those drip systems just wondering how do u feed every 15 min lights on an of or what thanks

i switched to 12/12 also to 1000w hps . did it last night right as the lights went off got up in the morning to check and i think the light was too low some of the plants were drooping but just the soil plants. so i checked and the dirt needed water so i gave them a drink. i then lifted the light and installed the glass into the hood . the light is 24" above the top of the canopy. after watering three of the plants leaves are still a little droopy. ill watch them

i checked this morning and everything is great all plants perked up and are loving the artificial summer ive created for them.

so everything looks great the powergrower had roots in the res so i added an air stone to it. my soil is fine except 3 0f the ten are a little yellow so i gave them some fert w nitrogen when i watered this morning. i watered with f.f. big bloom phd to 6.8 ther is alot of flowers on the hindu skunk. the blueberry x supersilver haze doesnt have as many flowers yet.my friend who bred this strain said it takes longer though. heres a couple pics

i went and got a speed control for my 10 in" fan . i also bought some calmax. i need to give my plants this as a couple have become sort of pale. i will hook up the 10" fan this weekend . it is a 747cfm fan . i have a 4" 170cfm fan hooked up to my 1000w hps hood but i need some more ventilation.my room is 864 cu.ft. so i feel this fan will be sufficient to control temp and humidity.i will water tomorrow with some big bloom and calmax and post some pics later.

this is probably the worst grow journal. i know nobody say anything.
so its day 24 ive had an issue with the color fading on the leaves of the soil plants 8 out of 10. not all are as faded as others. i got some advice to use calmax so i did it changed nothing. then i thought it was the mg soil so i flushed the plants. nothing.. so i have no idea. but my 2 hydro setups are fucking awesome. the drip that i had to put an air stone in is huge and the bubbler is the tallest but its also a different strain. but thay are both green and super fat . im postin a pic of the top of the yellowist and apic of all of them. ill try to update more often. ...I would appreciate more feedback though. alot of people look but dont post. go ahead drop me a line give some advice critisism or question its all good

Looks really good. Im interested in the end result. I wonder what the difference in yield will be as well as the quality of buds.

i only got about 11 ounces but ....i did get 3.5 oz off of just the one plant in the drip hydro setup. this pic is of some buds from the drip setup. the dirt plants smelled stronger but the quality on both was excellent
