Tangerine Dream "Mother"..
Even though I've had a successful germination, I am concerned about the unstable phenotype of Tangerine Dream. The leaves like to cup upwards, even when she's not thirsty. It's growth has been lanky as well and now I am getting early signs of pre-flowers that make me slightly uncomfortable. They look stiff like a dick, not flimsy like a strand of hair. I have a baaad feeling that she hermied on me.. Also, as you can see I did some super cropping today and the cut leaves I pinched and broke up in my fingers and took a big whiff of. Interesting smell, but not not as pleasant as I was hoping. We'll see what happens I guess.. I'm going to go for 1 clone and then flower her, rather than going for a sog.. If she hermied, I'll cut the clone and germ another seed and try for a better pheno.
Blue Mystic Mother..
Looking good, I'm not in any hurry for anymore blue mystic clones, as I'm considering discontinuing her all together despite my love of the strains growth structure. I may just keep replacing her with a stable clone until I try my hand at breeding if any of my reg seeds go male. I'd be looking for a high yielding strain with dense bud to make up for the cons of the Blue Mystic strain.

THIS strain is my favorite vegging so far. It has a strong skunk odor to it, with a hint of something else I couldn't place. I forget which strains it originated from, but it smells delicious and when I cut leaves off I grind them up in my hand and rub it all over my naked body. I can not wait to see how she smokes. I took 1 early cutting today to see if I can get a single plant into flower early while she continues to grow.I want to do another 4 plant sog garden out of her, get 1 additional stable clone and then I'll flower the mother into a scrog. I'm going to continue to mix and match Sog/Scrog some more for the time being. Ultimately though I hope to have only mothers vegging and being perpetually replaced by her heartiest clone, and flowering at least 4 other clones at a time in mini sog gardens like the Blue Mystic one. The Scrog looks sweet, but the density of the nugs isn't going to compare to the Sog grow, I can already tell.
