When I start a plant i leave about 1in empty from the top of the cup.
The plant will streatch a bit after they grow up out of the soil.

Then I cover the stem up with soil. They will grow roots there, an extra roots are great. Hit em with some rooting hormone to speed em up.

definitely interested in Iranian crosses for outdoor where i live because it gets really foggy and rainy by September.
last year the whole town had mold issues because no one had early flowering/mold resistant genetics!
i will be buying the straight Iranian first and testing it, it sounds like its gonna fit the bill perfectly :D
nice looking seedlings

Dr. Greenthumb message board hacked?
Anyone been over there? It looks like it was hacked by a bunch of Muslims angry over the recent cartoon fiasco.

WTF? what does the good Dr. have to do with any of that shit?

He got hacked once before by a muslim group, held his site for about a day. Probably about a year ago or so.

I agree,
Remember seeing it in the Hightimes top 10 canadian stains article last year...

Chemo
Dr. Greenthumb

Yet another potent indica from the land of shorter growing seasons, the Chemo earned its name with a powerful narcotic stone preferred by the medicinal community for pain relief and nausea. Its unique, earthy flavor envelops the mouth, and the hashy odor of a hit lingers in the air.

When growing, Chemo stays true to its indica heritage – feeding heavily, packing on weight quickly and keeping a low profile. The plants smell skunky throughout both the vegetative and flowering stages, and yields are typically spectacular. Freshly harvested Chemo colas need plenty of elbowroom while drying to ensure better evaporation of moisture from within. Dr. Greenthumb, boasting over 25 years of growing and breeding experience in eastern Canada, tells me: “Year in and year out, people who have tried Chemo at its best say they’ve never encountered anything as good in an indica.”

Lineage: Chemo-clone backcross
Flowering time: 8 to 9 weeks

Thanks

The price realy isnt that bad for his Iranian auto and Iranian crosses. Imho.
11 seed for 150$, =13 $ each ish.
Plus no canadian markup for the usa.
And your getting all females from a Hardcore breeder.
Most of them are only selling regs, an you get half males for your money.

But I do wish he sold half packs, mixed packs or single seeds.........

Today I begin the Training for Chemo x Iranian.

I toped her at the 3rd true node for 6 main colas.
This will slow growth for a bit but I got to keep her trained.

I will be doing everything I can to keep her from getting to big in my lil cab.(2ft tall 3ft wide 2ft deep.)
This can be a challenge when I'm vegging for 1.5-2 months an flowering for 2.....
