Okay, well my first grow consisted of only 1 Purple Buddha vegged under 40 watt fluorescent tubes and flowered with those same tubes and a 150 watt Hps and for the limited lights, she turned out great. She’s only a couple of days away from harvest now.

Picture 032.jpgPicture 041.jpgPicture 075.jpg

Seems like every time I think she’s ready I see new flowering occurring within the bud. It’s supposed to be a 53 day flower and it’s been over 60. Tri’s are still pretty much milky white but starting to amber. Not sure if I’m doing this right but I’m flushing with molasses water thinking if it needs it will at least have the energy to keep on keeping on until the nutrients are depleted or until it really makes harvest time.

My first efforts of cloning are paying off as I first propagated 5 clones from the mother.
I had a 100% success using “Dip N Grow”. One of these clones I threw into flower on 12/19 when she was 8 ½” tall as kind of a test to see if I want to pursue the Jungle of Green style. She’s doing well and has those wonderful white puffs coming on strong.

I traded one of my Purple Buddha clones to my caregiver in return for 2 Silver Tip clones that I will bring home within the next couple of days. This excites me because I love the Silver Tip buzz.

The other 3 clones of the Purple Buddha are now ready to go into flower. I’m thinking probably tomorrow so I have time to rearrange lights. On one of these I pruned the growing tip to make have a double cola (#2) so I could compare to yield off a plant with a single growing tip (#1).

Also ready to go into flower is an unsexed Blue Widow I started from seed. I really hope it turns out to be female. I love the looks of this plant.

Off of these I started a new batch of PB clones. I also started a BW clone just in case

Other than that I have started a seed from a Purple Urkel and a Chocalope that I hope will germ although the Chocalope I don’t have so much faith in as the seed seemed pretty light to me but fingers crossed.

I'd sure appreciate any thoughts, comments, critiques, and wspecially suggestions...

So, thats it in a nutshell.., Lots to learn and fun doin it:blsmoke:

:leaf:Good Time in the Ol Basement as of late. Finally dropped the hammer and chopped the Purple Buddha. She was my first grow in the basement and considering the lights, or lack there of, I'm calling it a success. Have to get a scale on it when its finished curing but consensus here is I should end up right at about an ounce.

Nice harvest. Looks like more than an o though.
Thx lotso.. I sure as hell hope so. It's not too light, it definately has some substance and I had another friend guess at a bit more than an ounce and a half finsihed. Cant wait til the kid brings my scale back so I can see.

Well Hell, wouldnt ya know it. I was gettin the grow room put back together afer the harvest of that Purple Buddha (great smoke BTW 2 thumbs up for this variety), I had the clone chamber out and on the bench and was busy picking up the shrapnel and in the process had picked up a jug, pushed it onto the edge of the bench, and it was like one of those games at the carnival. The jug pushed something else on the bench, which pushed something else, which pushed something else until the clone chamber fell from the edge.

Well it was obvious that 2 of the 5 were gonners immediately and all I could think of to do with the others, still in the clone blocks, ws trim the corners from the block and get them in soil and hopefully support any stress in the stems. Its been about 36 hours now and they appear to be looking like they may make it.

I then also took and clipped 3 shoots off the stump left from the PB and started them as clones.

Anyrate, Its all part of it so onword and upward, only way I know to get higher.

Okay, So now I have revived my origional grow chamber. Turns out It's just what the doctor ordered for whats goin on in the basement today. Sure glad I didnt tear it out like I was going to. Thinking now keep it goin cause actually, its a pretty damned nice chamber complete reflective w/ 8 flourescent tubes and makes me just that much more flexible. Here it is currently with a sample of the bulk of my genetics currently growing except for a Purple Urkle seed that just germed.

What I currently have in there is first off my pride and joy, Clone of the Purple Buddha just harvested. Shes looking great after her final transplant into a mega pot.

Picture 020.jpgI want her to be a fricken tree when finished. Figure on about a 2 1/2 - 3 month veg time for her.

Next I have a Blue Widow, the one in the back of the pic below, started from seed and as of yet unsexed. Transplanted last week and starting to kick it in the butt now Pretty Plant... Hope she is a she... And the one in the front is the clone I brought home from a caregiver last week. Also transplanted last week and the new growth is starting to show and the health of this plant has improved greatly.

And thats what I have goin on in the veg chamber.:blsmoke:

Okay so the flowering chamber is under my bench with 2 4' flourescent tubes and a 150 watt Hps and bout all I can say at times is "Damned it's hard to get decent pictures under these light conditions."

Both these ladies are also clones from the Purple Buddha just harvested and sister to the mega pot girl still in veg. There are a couple differences in these 2 though. The first one was put to flower at 8 1/2" Tall just after 2 weeks of veg. The second I pruned twice to get 3 main growth points and she was placed to flower 2 weeks later than the first so shes not showing those fine lil white puff balls yet.

Picture 006.jpgPicture 003.jpg

All in all been a good time in the basement. Thx for checking me out. I welcome all comments and suggestions.:blsmoke:

Well I had to grow out the veg room, as my friend "Colorado" suggested. Things are looking good and are on track to grow my operation to 10 plants in late flower, and another set coming into flower and a third set going into veg. This is a pic of my newly expanded veg area.

I have a few of the Purple Buddha clones in the seedling chamber and within a couple weeks I should be able to clone these others. This week I order another light. A 400 watt mh/hps. It should arrive just in time to push these girls into flower whre I currently have 2 other smaller Purple Buddhas. :leaf:
Starting to get fun.
