Deleting threads

is there a way to delete a thread that you i posted my accident?

If this forum is using the version of VBuletin that im used to... just delete your first post. Deleting the first post of the thread should delete the entire thread.

I can't even edit my own posts and with this new eilte membership, I should be able to edit and delete any my posts or threads according to what I read about it.
