My set up includes: 4ft x 4ft x 8ft grow tent, 4ft fluro (cool white and warm white bulbs) , 2x 52L pots, Two top feeder rings, 40L res, computer fan, larger inline fan, 400w MH and HPS bulbs , cool tube, Canna coco nutes A and B, rhizotonic, Cannazyme, pk13/14, Truncheon e/c tester, Ph drops, Clay balls, coco, perliteThermometer, Moisture tester, pedestal fan, 1 inch Rockwool cubes, Ok I started this journal a bit late, as I am on day 7. I will catch you all up. First I germinated by soaking the seeds in water overnight or till they cracked. Then transferred to Rockwool cubes. I feed them twice a day for 1min with just PH'd water, bout 5.5. Day 4 they were onto their 3rd set of leaves so I decided it was time for the nutes. Following the canna website feedind schedule I put 180mls of rhizotonic and 60mls each of the A and B nutes. They are up to day seven now and all I have done so far is top the res up with rain water. (My waters pretty hard it's about .5 EC or 250ppm and it rained pretty hard yesterday so I collected some rain water.) The girls (hopefully girls) look pretty good, they are a little bit light green in the Shute tip but look good. The only thing was, I went to check the root system and the roots were a little deeper than I thought, I felt a couple of roots snap in the process. Hope I haven’t slowed it down too much. And since the roots are that deep I have cut them back to one feed a day for a minute.Well that’s up to date. Feel free to give me your advice as it is my first grow. All goes to they same cause anyway the growing of our beautiful gift from mother nature. Hope I'm on the right track this time.
Here's a little update on the girls:
Day 9:
The older looking one's third set of leavs tips statered to burn a bit.I'm not sure if its nute burn or burn from my water being to hard, It doesn't look too bad but I still changed the res water to back the nutes off a bit. Now i'm runnin with pure rain water and 40mls each of A and B, 100mls of Cannaezyme and 60 mls of Rhizo tonic, Hopefully this works.
I also cleaned the res out with soapy water and also sprayed with detol atiseptic to cleanse. My EC is now 0.6 and Ph is 5.8, still on one feed a day for 1 min. All updated, Any advice or comments is welcome.
OK On to day 12 for the one on the left and day 9 for the one on the right.
On with the big light 400 watts and runnin. They look alright but because the pots are so big I think there getting a little too much water. So I reduced the feeding frequency to every second day. They are still on same nutes as before, EC about 0.6.
The leaves have little splashes of yellow especialy on the second set of leaves or( first set of true leaves) Can't work out what the go is, any advise would be very welcome. Cheers
