It has been several months and looking for my ole RUI buddies....Anybody out there? lol

This is my 4th grow. Using FF OF/LW, FF and DG nutes (did a side by side with FF and DG last grow and no difference), T-5 veg and 600 HPS. But I am about to order the Galaxy 1000/600/400 and the Hortilux Dual arc bulb and a DR150. I have been growing in my homemade cabnets. I built a 4x4 and a 2.5x4. Going to use the 4x4 with the 600 hps for flower and put the 1000 dual ach in the tent. Just to see the difference. I will use the homemade ones for drying. My future plan is to get a DR240 for flower and use the DR150 for veg/clone. I hope to harvest something every two weeks or so and just keep the party going.. :leaf:

I did not plan on all GHS it just turned out that way...

I had Big Bang and a Red Diesel, popped then stopped :sad:

Here is a group shot of all 8 from the last grow after I cut them loose and trimed. 1.17 lbs. I had all 8 in the 4x4 cabinet... :-P

I hope the 1000 dual arc will blow them up bigger this round!!! plus the tent is bigger and will allow more room to grow :leaf:

And the Dual arc bulb, if your only running one bulb I might recommend you just go pure hps. I think ideal would be the dual arc (600hps, 400mh) and another 600w hps. I just find the MH side of my plants not bulking up quite the same as the hps side. I'll have a better idea this time with a screen (my buds all fell over last round, towards the hps side go figure lol), but I almost wish I had a pure 1000w hps to use weeks 3-7 at least. The Dual arc is nice for the stretch and finishing off for the tric production, but not the best for massive bud growth, not 100% sure tho I will confirm in 6 weeks.

I am stepping up to 1000 so I did a lot of research on the bulb. Three top growers on another forum swears by the 1000w Dual Arc SuperBlue HPS/MH Hortilux. I found it for 214 vs 99 for the hps only. I used the 600 hortilux super hps last time. So the dual arc is basically my bulb with a 400 mh added. The Galaxy ballast I am getting runs 1000/600/400 with 10% boost for the 1000. Could be a big plus the last two weeks but shortens life....we shall see. Plus I still have my Gallaxy 600 and two Hortilux 600 hps bulbs so I can always add it in there to! lol

Damn, u got 524 grams out of a 600? that's amazing, wish I could hit that kinda gpw. I'm not missing anything am I? CO2? .87GPW is amazing efficiency, I need those strains lol

Wish I could run the 1600w but I'm already tapping my 15amp breaker out with the 1k and fans. I get boned in these gay apts. They always have like the bedroom and 2 baths on the same 15 amp circuit...then, the load the kitchen insane, like 50 amp range, a 30amp microwave and 3x 20amp breakers. Are you suppose to be running heavy machinery in the kitchen or what....what kinda stoner wired these places lol

The grow before this one the 10week WW was 84g and the 12 week WW was a bustin 124g...same 600 but the cabinet was only 10sf and 3 plant. There was a big bud with them that was bigger than both but the smoke was shit and I tossed it at week 8...I did use a little of the FF steroids..cha ching / beasty but only like two or three feedings.

Well my x live in gf did, she would pop the kitchen breaker with her fricken griddle!!! :wall:

Dont change the breaker. They run like 16 gauge and you will burn the place down if you install a bigger breaker! I am sure you know that...

Dont change the breaker. They run like 16 gauge and you will burn the place down if you install a bigger breaker! I am sure you know that...

Yeah I'm aware of electronics. I'm considering picking up some more wire and installing another breaker. Unfortunately no way to hide the wire can't go ripping the drywall apart so IDK.

wooohoo. 2nd seat for me!! =D cant wait for this grow man. you always do such an amazing job man. dewff be checking this grow out daily!! =D i gotta ask u a favorrrrr.. can u PM me... and tell me how u made that lil cabinet?? i wanna make/build one really bad.. but im not really sure exactly how to do it.. =/ the same size as yours would be fine.. its 4'x4' right? its looks really good. i know the basics.. but i mean urs looks great.. especially with the lil door. that'd be bad-ass if i had 1 in my room. and maybe a smaller one for the vegging.

I would be happy to help ya with the cabinet. I have two. My first was 2.5' x 4'. I made it just big enough for my Maunum XXXL. I wanted more plants so I built a 4' x 4'. If we wernt so far a part I would come build it for ya! I will PM ya with some questions...We can modify it if need to meet your needs. Do you have a skill saw, screw gun, saw horses and somewhere to build it? If not it would be cheaper to buy a tent. Time you buy the hinges, latch, srews, caster wheels, reflective film and all the wood...it adds up..But if you want to build one Im there for ya!!! :-P

I had like $200 in my 4x4 wood cabinet and here is a tent complete for $189 and it is top knotch...

I gave them 1/3 strength DynaGro foliage pro 9-3-6. DG is so easy. They are doing great but me being me I decided to push them a bit...lol

lol thanks man, I am anal about building stuff. That mylar was exspensive!!! but its like 95 or 97% reflective and has reinforcing in it...tuff as hell...when they start to flower I am going to cut some cardboard, attach the mylar to it and place over the pot to reflect light upward...I think little shit addes up...

Its fun getting new shit...I wanna play! lol

Oh they liked the 1/3 shot of nutes...I could see the diff in 6 hours! and even more this morning...nothing like fresh beans...They are really kicking. Well SLH2 and LS are the slowest so far...the BKs, SLH1, WW, WR are kickin ass. Gonna try and collect some rain water today...see how they like that...I am working on a rain catcher...

Just be careful with rainwater bc it's quality can vary greatly depending on where you live, weather ect. The PH can be all over the place too, sometimes it 5 sometimes its 8, very strange this RAIN stuff lol

i just order a dr120 was trying to hold out for new drII pro series but i started germing seeds last night and none of the grow stores even know a solid time line on when the new tents are going to be coming in so i figured i dont have the time to wait on that cuz i started 9 seeds. in bout 2 wks they are going to want to be under MH and i got to get the tent setup to run it till then tey will be under a couple floros. this is my line up this grow: 2 Powerkush; dinafem, 2 Bubba kush- GHS, 2 kings kush- GHS (one of the king's seed shell had a small bout 1cm crack in seed casing so none sure this one of them even has a chance but germing it anyways) 3 WW- G13 labs. im probably going to be getting a few clones of Exile-magus genetics from a buddy of mine. plan is to flower 9 plants in tent. i no its guna be packed but only plan on veging till mid dec probably 3.5 wks of veg. mite scrog

Cool. I am looking for my dr150 the end of week. I didnt know they had a new model out...dang...oh well I still have to get my dr240...but that is a ways off...I have my girls under the T5 now but as soon as my 1000 dual arc and tent get here I am going to veg them under that till 18" then switch...that pic above (last grow) is my 4x4 cab, had 8 plants in there, was nine but the LAcon x Skunk was male. It got real crowded with the 600. That why I got the 150 give me more side room and light. Mine were about 12-15" last time. I topped and used a grow screen to train them.

My tude order just arrived...people hate on the tude but every time they were great for me. They even called me on my cell when there was an order issue to see what I wanted...Took only seven days.

Here is my new bean list: I have a power kush seed so I will be watching that one and your King Kush to.

yea man i hope i can yield 75% of what you did in your 4x4 last grow, over a pound man thats some thing. how long did you veg? i was originally planning on only growing 4 plants in the 4x4 but im probably only going to be veging gor 3.5 wks so they will probably just be single cola plants.
