First grow on the cheap 11/04/10
Ok so I started my first grow. It’s a medical grow on the cheap for now.
1. 65w cfl shop light from Lowes 6500k for $45.00
2. For Mylar a emergency blanket from wal-mart $2.88
3. 2 black buckets with lids $11.00
4. 1 400 gph pump $18.00
5. PVC pipe about $3.00
6. 1 Power strip $7.00
7. 5 Sprayers $0.30 ea
8. A fan/Heater from Wal-mart $10.00
Any input is welcome

Yeah I Grow in soil but For sure you'll need at least 1000wt bulb for Flowering...And we started with two florescent lights,3 clones in a plastic cup, and foxfarm nunts.We didnt spend any money everything was given to us,everything but the nunts and foxfarm soil.Now we have a full complete grow going...everyone has to start somewhere.
I have a 400w mh that was given to me im going to use for flower.
Well I believe you need a 1000wt hp not totally sure but Im pretty sure.
sorry correct me if im wrong nikki but are u saying he should use a 1000 watt hps if the space is just the closet it looks to be 2x2 maybe 4x4 400 watt should be more than enough and i think a 1000 will cuase too many heat issues in such a space
The space is 17" x 23.5" x 7.5' tall a 1000w light i think would be way too much for an area that is less than 2 square feet.
Ok here is day 2 and day 3 pics of my Bubblelicious feminized seed from nirvana I planted 3 but only 2 have popped so far, and here is a pic of the light and refector.
1000 watt would be WAY to much..... I like the setup! plus rep!

I forgot to put in this thread that this first grow will be all soil because I started with seed I also have the ultimate grow kit from nirvana.The aero setup will be for phase two of my plan "The attack of the clones" LOL
