the 3 white widow seeds are cracked and sprouting (this pic is from about 6 hours ago, when only 2 were sprouting)
the somago are not waking up yet... one or two of them are showing signs of thinking about cracking open, but they are gonna take a while, i suspect. |

Although I would never use it for Hydro, the res would just be too stinky!!
I use BioBizz nutes for my soil grows too and they seem to work a treat. The only one I don't have is the BioHeaven. I will be trying the Canna range next when my BioBizz stuff is all gone.
Coco looks like a great growing medium and I can't wait to try it out. It will be a few months before I get round to it though. I've got some Jack Herer seedlings on the go and these will be finished in soil. But I will take cuttings. It is these cuttings that are destined for my first coco grow! |

well, things are moving along with germination.
three ww sprouts doing well
and here are the somango, just waiting for one more to send out it's root, but it looks like the seed has started to crack
i think i will let them stay in there for another day, at least, so the roots get a bit longer. do you guys like to pluck off the seed cover if they're not coming off on their own?

| | I've had the shell or two that have poked through rockwool, that needed a helping hand. That was after dropping them in. |

| | I wouldn't try so much to pull it off, more to try and lightly brush it off, make sure you keep the stem steady with your other hand too, i've pulled one out once trying to get the shell off, and yes you must pull it off sometimes they just don't break free of the shell. | | Tags | biobizz, buds, coco, coir, enourmous, loveit, seedsman, soma, somango, somango or whitewidow, whitewidow, widow, world wide | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
