Just started these guys about 2 weeks ago. Some general info about the grow:

Stealth(ish) closet grow
2- 24" GE Ecolux fluorescent T12 bulbs. They are wide spectrum, containing a high emission of far-red radiation. 20 watts/750 lumens per bulb.
2- 23 watt (100W equivalent) GE soft white compact fluorescent bulbs

Seeds were germinated in a moist paper towell

Plants were sprouted in soil from a perennial flower garden in dixie cups.



After about two weeks, I added a inch or so layer Schultz Professional Potting Soil Plus to the top of the previous soil. It is .08% Nitrogen, .12% Phosphorous, and .08% Potassium. It also has canadian sphagnum peat moss, perlite, and something called "MultiCote" which is apparently some sort of slow release plant food that lasts for 9 months. seemed pretty good to me.

Everything is suspended from the ceiling using lashing wire and hooks, allowing for easy changes in height as the plants grow.

I covered the walls and the tub the plants are sitting on with aluminum foil. I couldn't find mylar anywhere. The fixtures i have for my T12 fluorescent bulbs didn't have any sort of hood over them, so I generically made one that has seemed to have pretty good results. I just added it the other day and have already noticed significant changes in the plants size and overall health. Also, since the fluorescent bulbs don't emit much heat, with the hood and a fan, the temperature stays about mid to high 70's.

The seeds came from a bag I had boughten, I was pissed at the time but not anymore. The pot wasn't anything killer, I just don't want to pay for it anymore. But are there any proven ways to help increase the percent of thc in the plant? I have no idea what the strain is.

I think it's going pretty well so far, let me know what you guys think.
