Weather can be rough here in september. The date of the average first frost is Sept 15, five days ago. Have not had a frost yet. I'm planning to pull one or two this weekend maybe, the temps are supposed to be warm this week and decent amount of sunshine. The spot they are in is getting less sun due to trees blocking the sun to the south. The huge sativa is definitely not done, and one other plant needs a few more weeks. The four purple pheno's look to be just about there, maybe one more week tops. The fan leaves are all mostly yellow or yellowing, the buds are not popping new pistils, they are just swelling it seems. I'm going to let them go as long as I can, just to be sure. Will start a smoke report when the buds are hung, dried and jarred. Thanks for all the great info, I got lucky with these bagseed beauties!

Sorry for such a long break, over a year. The buds were fantastic. The sativa never fully finished, it was over twelve feet high, weather became an issue, it started to die. The other six plants were a fantastic smoke. It took me over a year to smoke it all. I gave some to friends, etc...Bagseed but all very good. Each indica looking plant was slightly different. One had a peppery taste, it had neon green pistils, it was a nice body buzz. Two looked exactly like the same strain, purple and pink pistils, excellent heady high with a body component too, put a smile on yer face all day. Another was really purple, excellent tasting smoke, but the bud output was limited, think it needed more sunshine, but the buzz was out of this world. All in all my first outdoor, yielded alot, a couple pounds. Like I said, took over a year to smoke it all, lasted very well in jars. Peace out!!

glad i stayed subbed to the thread, mostly happy ending
no surprise on you sativa, had similar experiences years ago in NY, takes that long warm fall to ripen those
curious on the sativa's effect, did you get anything good out of it? you don't seem to mention it, just the other plants

sorry for delay, another year has passed, lol. the sativa bud was weak, a light, heady high. it made you smile and feel like you had the world by the cahones. haven't grew since that outdoor grow. quit smoking for awhile, it's been almost a year since i had a toke. looking forward to my first buzz in a long time, waiting to start another outdoor soon!
