1 month of vegging. They are about 1.5 weeks into flowering and appear to both be showing as female. Planted in 3 gal pots with Ocean Forest. BioCanna nutes (didn't nute much in veg phase though). 250W MH for veg, switched to 12/12 250W HPS for flowering.
Mary (larger one) appears a little stretched. Jane (smaller!) got a little slow start due to having her seed shell covering the first leaves for a while.
Here are some updated pics. I broke Mary's stem by trying to LST her -- she got a 90 degree bend and a slightly ripped side of the stem. I tied her back up and after 2 days she seems to be doing fine. I removed the tie and the stem stays vertical.
I also added a 12" fan to the setup to move some air around (stays under 80 degrees now) and I also put up a fluorescent fixture I had laying around. I don't know if that little light from it will matter much.
I was losing a lot of light due to not having good reflection, so I built a little box out of cardboard moving boxes. I painted the inside flat white. I also had to relocate everything to an area with a little more vertical room since these girls keep growing.
Looking good.Just curious when lights off its completely dark for the ladies right?
Thanks!
Yes, it's lights out from 11pm - 11am. It's in a closet with sliding doors and we don't go in during those hours. If we absolutely have to we just pop in a door and feel around in the dark
I water both girls about 1500 ml with 1 tsp of Bio Canna Flores every 2-3 days. I've noticed some drooping of the leaves on the taller girl but she perks up when she gets a little drier. May be over watering a tad.
I'm going to start adding molasses soon, and possibly look into bloom targeted nutes. If anyone has suggestions or experiences with blooming nutes I'd be curious to hear if they are actually worth the $$.
