I'm giving the clones 24-hour light. They are exposed to the flowering area during the 12 hrs the lights are on (about 3 feet from lights) and then during the dark period they are in another room under T12 fluoro bulbs. I don't have much expectation for them, I just wanted to see how they would fair, and I've read some pretty good things about flowering clones (they can get really bushy after returning to veg).

I guess I don't know much about micro-organisms you referenced. The only things I've used for my current grow are Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, Bio Canna nutes and molasses. Do you have a decent link maybe to read up on?

    Thanks for your comments

yeaa transplanting during flowering isnt good to do.. cuz it can stress is out and turn it hermie..or just skiw down growth.. but if u have a small pot.. its better to transplnt.. rather than wait..a dn let it grow and get to like week 5-6 of flowering.. adn then have ur plant get root-bound and stop growing. =/

and taking clones during flowering.. adn then putin the clones into veg (i would reccomend an 18-6 light schedule rather than 24-0 since clones are very sensitive) is ok. its actually called monster cropping.. if u take clones during flowering.. and put them into veg.. they end up growing SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many shoots!!!! heres a link to a page discussing it.

just X out the lil pic.. and heres a pic of what "can" happen from doing it.

    Default 38 Days

38 days since switching to 12/12.

I definitely burned the tips on Jane, the smaller one. I've been using the same 1/2 strength nute dosage on both plants but the taller girl did not burn nearly as badly.

Clones are doing fine I guess. I don't see any roots, but they are not dying. They still look quite green and I opened them up to blow some fresh air in there.

As long as the clones dont look dead and you see new growth then you are fine.Everything is looking good.

Good deal! I'm really curious to see which method takes off faster -- the rockwool or the soil clones.

Thanks man! Yeah I started molasses a week or two after switching to 12/12. I usually feed it once a week at about 1 tbsp per gallon.

    Default New Grow Closet

So I needed to go a bit more stealth for various reasons. I didn't want anyone able to just glance into the closet and see huge plants.

Bought this at Home Depot for $95: ClosetMaid 30 In. Wardrobe.

Sealed it up with duct tape, and made a 4 in outlet hole on the top and a hole on the opposite side on the bottom.

    SDC13359.JPG

I bought a roll of Reflectix insulation to line the walls. I bought the 2 foot x 25 foot roll, which was great because I could roll it all the way down the wall, so each wall had one full piece. Stapled it to the sides, very easy.

    SDC13366.JPG

I bought a 6" duct fan from Home Depot for $30. I used 4 in. ducting and then a 4 in. to 6 in. adapter to place the fan in. Using this setup I was unable to keep temps under 95F (room temp is ~79F). Way too hot.

    SDC13360.JPG

So, I went to Walmart and picked up a Lasko blower for $40, then used this mod to hook it up. Temps are a little more reasonable now. The top temp is at the base, and then bottom temp is at the top of the canopy near the colas.

    Default 47 days

    47 days since 12/12.

I finally completed my new grow box I think. I had to upgrade the ducting to 6 in. all around. I had a heat incident where it got up to 95f+ and it caused some burning on the tips of Mary, she was very dry at the time too so it was worse.

    SDC13411.JPGSDC13412.JPGSDC13410.JPG

Plants have definitely been stressed out over the last week with all the changes in their environment. Mary is looking very yellow so I'm going to give her some Veg nutes in addition to blooming nutes with her next feeding. I had to curve her around the edge of the box, her cola is kind of jammed into the side. If I let her go up to her real height she would burn. I don't know how the cola being jammed up will affect the growth, we'll see.

Jane's cola is looking better and better every day.

Only two clones made it. Both of the ones I put into FFOF are alive, and I transplanted them to 1 gal buckets of FFOF and put them under 24 hr 125w CFL light now.

In other news, I incidentally hacked off a branch while moving everything around. I trimmed it and baked it in the oven for 40 min @ 200F. Smoked about .5g and it gave a nice, energetic high, but obviously still has a ways to go for potency.
