I've been following Riddleme's writings and am switching from the full line of Humboldt a&b schedule, 14 parts, to simple Jack's Classic Duo. The JC Grow is 20-20-20 and the Bloom Booster is 10-30-20. For micros I will supplement with Dyna-grow-Liquid Grow which is 7-9-5 and has everything. I will use a Mycorrhizae supplement and I may add a silica supplement, but that's about it. I will be using Humboldt's soiless mix with nothing added to that mix.

They are in 3 inch pots and just made the switch from the t-5's to the 250w MH. They got their first rain on friday and a shot of Jack's on Sunday. They have had a nice growth spurt. :hump:

let me tell you jacks and cal mag are all I am using now. I have the classic for veg 202020 and the bloom booster whatever numbers that is. I also add some humboldt honey every now and then. I use the cal mag at 1 tsp per g every feeding. all i have to say is wow. I have never seen such results with previous crops. I believe whole heartedly in jacks and cal mag. my flowers have more crystal on them at 6 wks then they did before at 9!! during veg I give them 1/4 tsp every watering with a tsp of cal mag and 1 drop of superthrive also add the humboldt honey at 1 to 2 tsp every other feeding. then for three weeks in flowering I give 1/4 tsp of the 202020 and 1/4 tsp of the jacks bloom along with the ol cal mag plus at 1 tsp and the honey at 1 to 2 tsp every other watering. I don't use the superthrive in flower at all. after the 3 weeks I use 1/2 tsp of jacks every feeding not every watering. I have done my research and would have paid top dollar for some good nutes with a good schedule. this is the shiot. believe me not because of the lists of chems I have used but by seeing the best and frostiest nugs this veteran has ever seen. after generation after generation of average looking clones to harvest....since using jacks they have become centerfolds. I don't work for them I just call it how I see it. whats even cooler is that the jacks is about 1o to 12 bucks at your local nursery. I would have to say also I totally totally recommend the cal mag plus. I pd 18 bucks the the local hydro store for it. as soon as I smelled it I knew that this is what my girls were missing. ever since that stuff. all my leaves are so green and lush like never before and so much denser and stalks are stronger and branches are sturdier. even in flowering the yellowing process is so much more gradual instead of a pile of dry and crusties at the base of each pot. so some guys will get mad and talk how scorpion juice and voodoo and iguana this and that. I've been to the store and that shit is waaay too expensive for me. you would probably be better off buying yer smoke. I don't doubt it works.. advanced..dutch..canna.. I think once you find what works best for you you won't want to change. I really was just looking for a good feeding schedule which would help me grow the best fruit possible.
may not be 100 percent organic but I don't have all that much time to brew actual shit teas. pew. I would think also that that would call about insects too. nothing for nothing tho. If you follow that schedule you will see what I mean. I am like kapow when I look in my room at night time and see the glow of crystal glowing nugs from the same mommas I have been cloning for 3 years which produced avg yield b4. truly amazing jack you earned my respect despite all the critics which classify jacks with miracle grow. no ffing way. get that cal mag plus too wink wink.
did my deed now off for some....sleep

I use almost the identical mix as you. Except I get my cal mag from lime and molasses for more flavor. Jack's all the way for me.

never heard of the lime part.. I used molasses with great results. now I get the humboldt honey. smells alot like the molasses for sure, but there are also some other goodies in it too. plus I don't have to sit there and dip molasses into my jugs. 10 or 11 bucks vs the 3-4 for some good molasses. I think the honey is easiest for me. I have used budcandy too. all I have to say is wow. almost made it too sweet and tasty. was really stickt and $uper heavy weight. BUT, is like 30 bucks a qt. at least I think that was the quant.
also I never mentioned soil. I use the pro mix bx. someone at the grow store said that is a very reputable mix which also includes the dolomite lime in the mix. I bought this stuff for like 25 a bale at the farm and tractor store. also I was going to add some stuff for micorrizea growth but saw that this stuff contains that too. I dunno I am not changing anything. my next harvest looks spectacular. can't wait to see what these 6 week bitches look like at 8-9. like a hairy stinky monsters I bet. never saw my ladies look like they do now except maybe when they were finishing at 9-10 weeks. also within reason. green and glowing now vs ambered out nicely at 9-10. but size wise. I'm amazed. my plants never told me they loved their nutes until I gave em a drink of jacks and cal mag. within a couple hours every leaf is straight out. no drooping or curling up or down. wow. good luck fellas. I don't post pics either because I have nothing to show. :9)

Thanks a ton for all that great information, I truly appreciate it. I am trying to simplify things and I was using one of the most expensive lines out there, Humboldt, and got good results but, my cost per ounce was way outta whack, Momma keeps the books, and with the passage of HB 1084 in Colorado, I am only allowed 5 patients as a private caregiver AND I'm only allowed to sell to them at cost. So I have to get that cost down, so there's something left for me at the end.

Riddleme and his threads are amazing, with so much information. And that led me to Jacks. Can't say how good or bad yet, but I'm liking it already. So simple.

Thanks again brother for the vote of confidence on Jacks and I may take your advice on the cal-mag, after I use up all the humboldt Sea Cal and Sea Mag.

Did all yure KC brains germ?i had probllems with them wen i bot them,,plants look very healthy.how many watt s yu using?.on nutes i use fox farms nutes 0-50-10 and 9-50-10 on flowering and sugar daddy in late flowering.i been pulling baseball and softball size nugs.
Raiderman, a guy truly after my heart! My grandfather was from Oakland and I've been part of the Raidah Nation all my life. Grew up on the Snake, Stork, Tooz and the boys !

The KC Brains Mango I got maybe 4 years ago so these are clones from my momma plant. Honestly don't remember any germ problems and I only had half the seeds, split with a buddy.

I cut the clones and they go into a dome with t-5's about a foot above them. Once they root I put them in the 4 inch pots and they go under t-5's that are right on top, close as I can get them. Once I see them taking off they move under a 250w MH, until the space in front of them clears and they can go under the 400w MH.

I started with foxfarms way back when and had good success. I found myself wanting to add this and that and the other thing, so I found the Humboldt line that had all that in their line already. Tried the organic line, hated 'brewing' the stuff, had my garden smelling like one big asshole. Went to the A&B and like it but its simply too expensive.

Now I'm coming full circle, getting back to basics and jacks fits the bill very nicely.

These two pics are just for you !

yeah guys like I said I don't wanna brew shit tonics and the ol lady don't either. I wanted something simple to use and understand without having these complex chem mixes. I mean I am advanced but not that advanced. a pinch of this a pinch of that ok but horse shit bat shit seagull shit, it could grow amazing fruits but I would never know cause I'm not touching that stuff. I can say I changed nutes in the mid of a cycle and it was clear... before jacks, and after jacks lolololol. you could see it's timeline in the fruit. so hey now we are like wow everyday to see how things should be growing. really a dramatic difference. also nice baseball.. haha mm mm. nyce. I would say I am on that road with jacks. can't wait to be hitting baseballs. lol also I thought about fox farms but after all if you follow their schedule it's like a full blown job following that chart and then there is optional supplements and I am just not into purchasing mad expensive chems. I mean one time I grew an amazing grapefruit that was delicious. I grew it on nothing more than fish tank water and some eyedropper stuff that I picked up at the de-pot. sooo.. whatever is clever I ges. I know I am a thrift meister and don't like to shell out THAT much geech for nutes. the fox farm line is like 2-3 ft long if you get the open sesame and monster blah blah blah. and soil and blah blah. it works just not cheaply. I want my fruit as free as possible.

I am along for the ride. Looks good out of the gate RMH. The soil recipe in the Noob thread would work well with the Jacks. You probaly would not even need supplemental CalMag until later in flower with more demanding strains. Even then a top dress with some dolomite along with some molasses would fill the gap nicely. And the timing is right for the molasses. Looking forward to this one......
