Well, it's been like 10 days since my last update, so I suppose it is time. I took a couple of pics tonight right before lights on; and a couple of them came out fairly well. I am five weeks and two days into flower. Arjan says to go about 50 days on Great White Shark; so I will be having my first harvest in about 2 weeks. The Sativa I expect to take as many as six more weeks; that girl is just getting started.

I gave the GWS girls their last feeding today. It was a hefty dose of Tiger Bloom, guano tea, and only the left one received molasses as well. I am going to leech for the next two weeks, and then I will be chopping the two girls down. I am pretty amazed at the swelling that has happened over the last few days. I hope to God it continues, as I am a little bit worried about yield. Everyone says that the buds pack on a lot of weight in the last two weeks, though, so I'll have to just wait and see. And, by the way, the buds are rock hard. Thank you for having a look, and I hope the rest of you are having as much fun with your grow as I am.

Day 43 of Flower,

I plan on harvesting the GWS in 7 days. The plants are starting to look like they are almost done. I gave them nutes for the last time two nights ago, and actually gave them all a little nute burn. Oh, well. These are a couple of close-ups of buds, and a nice long shot. From now on, I am giving them plain ph'ed water, and trying to leech out all the nutes. Harvest is so close I can almost taste it!

wow amazeing job man, those pics are deffintly high times quality! delicious, i hear a little nute burn at the stage your at is actually pretty good, hit em hard with the nutes, without burnin them to much, is what i hear is a good secret.

btw im a little confused, how many plants you got goin in that scrog? 2 or 3?

Thank you. I am ScrOGing 3 plants. I had a bagseed plant that grew for a little over a month while I waited for a very delayed seed order. I definitely made a big sacrafice on yield by saving the big one, and I really didn't grow the GWS out as much as I could have. If you look back in the journal, you can see that I was barely at the screen when I flipped, and they are sitting on booke. Thanks for stopping in.

damn bro its lookin good. but you should have been patient like me and trained your plant. but for your first grow, and scrogging, props to your bro, your ganna have a booooomb harvest, but you know this. anyways the great white shark is looking great. im ganna try out arjans haze #3 next time. i think the "Midget Sativa" will be a perfect canidate for a scrog. i love how the screen looks with juicy spears pokin out the top. ive been imagineing what mine will look like soon. thinking if i fell on it, it would impale me with a goatload of colas lol.

awwwww, billybob, it is a pleasure to have a fellow ScrOGer in here. It wasn't impatience that made me flip the timer; it was to save the other plant. I had a the little Sativa 4 weeks into veg when I sprouted the Great White Sharks. Also, my girlfriend would have left me if I had killed the big Sativa. She had fallen in love with it. So, basically, I had to flower quite a bit early to avoid having the big bitch overgrow my whole house, as she was becoming a monster. I knew I was making mistakes on this grow as I made them. Next grow (which will be starting in a couple weeks), I will do it right, even if it is on a small scale. Thanks for checking me out.

what mistakes? and im jealous u got u a bitch that is down for the cause. i feel i cant trsut anyone. cant find that girl that im down enough with to let know. but i guess thats good cause she dont need to know lol. what are you using for odor control? also what strain are you planning next and u ganna OG?

The only mistake I made was not giving the GWS enough time to really spread their wings. For odor control I use an inline carbon filter that is hooked up to the exhaust of the room. It all looks a little ghetto, but works pretty well.

Next grow, I am not sure yet. I want to do something from Greenhouse again, but I might just end up with GWS again for a second time. I don't think I have time for any long-flowering hazes before I move this summer; and that's really what I want to grow next time. Also, I have gotten to know the strain pretty well, so next time I will have the confidence to properly nute them and make them really shine.

Oh, and my girlfriend and I have been together for 3 and a half years. We have been living together for almost 3. I did a few months' research on growing before I even brought it up. When she saw how serious I was, she started to give in. When I reminded her that we spent about $400 a month on weed, she gave in completely.
