Super Lemon Haze and Arjan's Strawberry Haze. My first medical grow log.

Well, this is my first official 100% LEGAL medical marijuana grow log. When I attended the Cannabis Cup last November I was able to procure some Sensi and White Label seeds. The White Labels never popped the soil (we suspect soil conditions were the culprit) and I am currently growing 5 Sensi feminized seeds from a mix pack.

Well, this wasn't good enough for me (or my patients) so I sourced some Greenhouse seeds through the UK. My primary patient wanted Arjan's Strawberry Haze, and after sampling the two time Cannabis Cup award winning Super Lemon Haze in Amsterdam last autumn, I decided to buy a 5 pack for a mother plant and to offset some of the cost of this grow. The local dispensary eats this stuff up.

The seeds arrived today!! Packed in original bubble containers, Attitude Seed Bank comes through again! Packaged in a discrete, but not extremely discrete way. I only paid £1 extra.. Maybe next time I can afford a t-shirt

I will be germinating 3 Super Lemon Haze and 3 Arjan's Strawberry Haze. Also in this grow will be a single Greenhouse Bubba Kush feminized and a single DNA Sour Cream feminized. These were freebies from Attitude.

This will be a diverse grow. seeds will be germinated and planted in beer cups using Fox Farm's Ocean Forest Potting Soil mixed 2:1 with Perlite. They will then spend the first few weeks of their life under 3 x 26w 6500k CFL's increased to 6 x 26w 6500k CFL. After the second node develops, they will be moved to the veg room lit by a 400 watt Metal Arc lamp and transplanted into 3.5 gallon grow bags using the Ocean Forest/Perlite mixture. After the fifth true node develops they will be topped using Uncle Ben's topping technique to get 4 main colas. When they are ready they will be moved to the flowering room. This room uses and air cooled 400w High Pressure Sodium lamp. There is also an auxiliary 400w Metal Arc lamp in a non-movable ceiling mount.

I will be using Fox Farm's nutrients this grow. I know there are good and bad with all fertilizers, but these ones seems to work for me, and they are pretty easy to use. I use the liquid trio pack of Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. Also, starting with the Sensi plants mentioned above I have also added the soluble trio pack of Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching. I will let you know how they all turn out.

Hey, I'm growing one SLH and one ASH right now, they look to be about two weeks out from harvest, this is about the 10th week of flowering (CLF's = slow). I used Fox Farm nutes with Ocean Forest soil as well. Had CFL's the entire time, I'm at 16x26 watts right now (and have been most of flowering).

Since it was my first grow I messed up a lot, with ventilation mostly, so my yield isn't gonna be huge (hoping for a couple ounces, will update in the next few weeks when i harvest and dry), but I can say both strains look and smell AMAZING. I also lost my memory card to my camera, so I don't have any updated pics, but I may try to borrow a friend's camera one of these days.

I popped off one of the lemon buds a week or so ago, because it was hitting a light (I've been LSTing by essentially tying down branches when they get up to the lights, as moving the lights in my setup is a pain, and this one wouldn't stay tied down!), and had resin on my hands for about 3 hours (through multiple hand washings).

edit: Oh yeah, and at first I liked the Strawberry a lot more than the Lemon, and it was yielding way more (I think due to my ventilation issues), but in the last few weeks the Lemon has been catching up quick, and might look/smell better than the Strawberry now. At least with whatever pheno I had, the lemon seems like a late bloomer, so don't get discouraged if it doesn't look great right off the bat :P.
